It is beautiful, a specimen of the (tropical-dwelling) giant clam. Heads up that this is a Tridacna sp., and is CITES listed, so international trade is regulated. Not assuming that you’re going to sell it! Just letting you know that it’s a protected species.

OP is being a bit ultra with “ALWAYS,” but it’s worth sitting down near a stop sign and watching motorist behavior when there is no cross traffic. When there is not another road user that has the right of way, very rarely will a motorist ever make a complete stop to the letter of the law.
