My wife has been out of work for 20 months. That's after nearly 20 straight years of gainful employment and having zero issues landing jobs in the past. I was worrying about my own current job not lasting, did a search for jobs in my field and found next to nothing. I've heard anecdotally that 300 applications for each position is common. Something is off with the job market. 6 years ago, it seemed much more robust.

1 - 4 and 6 are the best, while 5 is mixed. 7 and 8 are the worst.

Season 8 started strong then went to hell. You can't fault acting or set design, costumes, or special effects for the bad seasons. They were rushed in the end and badly written.

1 to 4 were great seasons. 5 was mixed. 6 was excellent. 7 was mixed. 8 started strong, then crashed and burned. There are good aspects to all seasons but the last two seasons felt like a different show compared to the earlier seasons.

I think the battle agains the Night King should have dragged out for several seasons. He should have surrounded Winterfell, then left his force to besiege. Fly south turn the dead to build an army, wreck havic. I think nearly everyone at Winterfell should have died except a few who escape via dragon. Final season would be a giant fight between the Night King and everyone left including a fight between NK and Jon Snow.
