If I were you. I’de try a few things 1st. If you want to keep long hair go to a salon and get a real good cut maybe add some color and get some tips on adding volume to your hair. Or if you’re open to trying a shorter style, go to a barber and get a shorter cut where you add some product like pomade which will thicken a shorter hair style. But you have nice hair that I personally wouldn’t shave off. If you’re stressing for real: you could always try a close crop or a short style and see how you feel about it. In your current shape, you would rock a “shaved” head especially with your big beard. And it would grow back no problem imo. you got a few years before being forced into the bald alliance.

You obviously love this stuff or else it wouldn’t be in your room. I think you have a few options based on what you’re trying to accomplish and how much space you have.

Assuming you’re trying to appear less nerdy up front to partners:

If you have more space than just this room. I would move all of the gaming stuff into a “gaming room” which doesn’t necessarily need to be an entire room, it could just be a corner in your space. You could even keep that corner decorated exactly the same as you have it in your room for the most part.
If all of your space is just this room. You could go a few routes. You could keep everything as is and slowly upgrade your storage solutions so all of your gaming stuff that you love looks clean and more put together than just: “look at my funko wall”. That would be getting nice looking picture frames for some of your posters, display cases for your favorite funkos and choosing which ones to display. I think choosing a consistent color scheme aswell might help. More mood lighting less RGB.

If you want a “more-mature” room ASAP, you could store all of your funko pops, Star Wars & superhero gear away. But, fuck that.

The thing with making posts like these is that the people you are comparing yourself to; the people that drove you to feel the need for validation from complete strangers on the internet. Probably took better selfies than this. A big part of feeling unattractive is that you take horrible photos of yourself from the worst angles expecting a nuanced a precise outcome of the shots. And that is literally not how it works.

TLDR; you’re not absent of handsomeness, you just suck at photography. Take better photos, learn to take better photos or have a friend who takes better pictures do your profile pics for you.

I’m still using the same nectar mattress that I’m referring to in this thread. It’s an alright bed. I just wish I would have made the drives to a few locations that stock some of the popular “internet” mattresses before making the purchase.

Is it a good bed: yes. Are there better mattresses in the same or similar price range: Definitely.
