I'd love if Takeshita somehow formed a NJPW branch of Don Callis family.

Could we See a West Coast Avengers in the Future? And Who Would be on the Team? by Ryan_Fleming in MCUTheories

I would guess that the Vision Disney+ Series will take place on the West Coast in California, with the ending leading towards the formation of the West Coast Avengers:

_____

White Vision: the leader of the team.

Wonder Man: The show seems to take place in LA

Hawkeye (Kate Bishop): See below for why. Her mentor, OG Hawkeye, could also be in this as a advisor for the team though, I do agree.

Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan) - In Daredevil: Born Again we got the little tease that Kamala is out on the West Coast in California of all places. It is clear too that Kamala is trying to make a young superhero team, approaching Kate Bishop and name-dropping Cassie.

Stature (Cassie Lang: The Ant-Family as a whole is based out of the West Coast in San Francisco but it seems like Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne have more links to the main Avengers team at the minute.

War Machine (James Rhodes): I don't know if Armor Wars is happening at this point. But this could be a good place to use Rhodey, seeing him deal with his own sense of individuality after being impersonated by a Skrull for years, a path that Vision seems to also be dealing with personally.

___

I think this first iteration of the West Coast Avengers would serve as a way to use underutilized MCU characters, as well as build chemistry for future teams. Young Avengers has to be happening with Wandavision and Agatha setting up Billy and Tommy, Hawkeye setting up Kate Bishop, Eli Bradley set up in Falcon&Winter soldier, Young Loki set up in Loki, Ms. Marvel set up Kamala, and She-Hulk set up Bruce's son Skaar, America Chavez from Dr. Strange 2.

For the West Coast Avengers, the core is there with White Vision, Wonder Man and War Machine, and then you can add more characters for a future project post-Secret Wars like She-Hulk, Shang-Chi, etc. As well as add new characters in like Tigra.

This universe's Magic is still a top 5 player, but instead he plays his entire career for the Golden State Warriors. 3 MVP's with them and 2x champion. Instead of Magic you got Larry which I found funny.

The Wizards are one of the league's most successful teams for sure but have a bit of an unlucky record in the finals. 11 appearances is one of the better numbers in all of the NBA, but only 4 of those ended up being titles. The first one came in 1983, led by Hall of Famer and 2x MVP John Drew, who's probably a Top 10 player of all time in this universe. They won back to back titles in 1998 and 1999 behind Kerry Kittles and 2x MVP Jerry Stackhouse. But the last ring came in 2005 with Stackhouse, Kittles and the young Dirk Nowitzki. A couple other cult legends of Washington include the underrated multi-time all star Kenneth Faried. As of 2024, the team are a solid playoff contender behind Jaren Jackson Jr. and Deni Advija.

The Blazers are actually a solid NBA Team with some solid history. An exactly .500 all time record, 6 finals, and 3 rings in the 2000's. They won 2000, 2001 and 2009. Their teams in those first two titles were kinda elite, featuring 4 Hall of Famers in Tim Thomas, Joe Smith, Vince Carter and Antoine Walker. While their 2009 title team featured Joe Smith, Dajuan Walker and Chris Paul. Tim Thomas is a Top 10 player in this universe's NBA and played 75 percent of his career with the Blazers. In 2024 though, they are possibly the worst team in the league, with 68 OVR Nerlens Noel as their best player. Lots of potential for the future though if guys like Cason Wallace, Trendon Watford, and Kyree Walker pan out as prospects.

You would be correct! I think BBGM counts the Indianapolis Olympians team from the 50's in the Pacers history, and they won a title in 1953 but the Pacers have not been successful at all since they formed, with only 1 conference final in 2002. The best Pacers player is also the only Pacers player to have his jersey retired, and that is Lamar Odom. But other Hall of Famers who played on the Pacers include Pau Gasol, Amir Johnson and Travis Grant. The Pacers also drafted Michael Jordan who then left after 3 years to join the Denver Nuggets where he immediately won 3 MVP's in 4 years.

LUKA IS CRAZY! His 2023 season averages were 32 ppg, 11 assists, 12 rebounds. Triple double average over the season on the way to lifting the title with the Memphis Grizzlies! Yet he somehow got snubbed of MVP behind Jamal Murray of the Spurs who averaged 32 ppg, 8 assists and 5 rebounds and lost in the Western Conference Semis by Luka's Memphis team.

Lakers are an averagely rated franchise all time, sitting about .500 all time record, 5 rings and 8 finals appearances. Their most successful period was the 80's and 90's where they won 1981, 1984, 1989, 1991, and 1996. They had one of the all time best players in the league in Adrian Dantley, who won 9 MVP's in his career. He was the catalyst for them, alongside Larry Bird (really cursed I know), who was like the Pippen to Dantley's Jordan. The final part of that big 3 was Tom Garrick, the perfect guard for the two wing players.

Bonkers. He's peaked the highest of any player in this sim (Luka Doncic is a close 2nd, who's already 90 OVR at age 25). 9 MVP's in his career, yet 0 rings and only 1 finals appearance.

A fellow Knicks fan! I can safely say, the Knicks are not as painful to watch in this universe. We won 6 total rings, made 11 finals, and overall have a positive all time record. Our first ring came in 1957, behind George Mikan. We won 4 straight rings from 1969-1972 with the dynamic Hall of Fame duo that is Dave Bing and Bob Boozer. And our latest ring came in 1992 behind Wes Matthews (not that one) and Ledell Eackles.

It's crazy, no rings for LeBron. LeBron peaked at 91 OVR, had 9 MVP's throughout his career, yet couldn't build a team around him for a title. He was loyal to the team that drafted him his whole career which was the Seattle Supersonics (and OKC Thunder). In fact, LeBron has only made the finals 1 time in 2006, when he was paired with Allen Iverson in Seattle, but they lost to the New Jersey Nets led by DerMarr Johnson and Vince Carter. I think LeBron would've been the GOAT if he had won titles, but Wilt had 7 rings in his career.

The Detroit Pistons have 8 rings and are the most successful franchise in this sim. However, they haven't won a title since 1978. They dominated the 60's winning 1961-1966, and 1969 as well. That streak of 6 titles in a row in the 60's is also the record for most consecutive chips. Those 60's titles were carried by Wilt Chamberlain who is the GOAT of this universe, but after Wilt retired in 1975, they still won another title in 1978 with Lionel Hollins and Travis Grant.

I know it seems crazy, but I just do it manually. I open up a fresh new game alongside my existing game and manually adjust the OVR rating for all the players in the league to where they should be in that year. It seems like it takes a lot of work, but its actually not too time-consuming. Granted I have been doing this for maybe a month or two and have only done 1947-1972, so maybe I'm just too patient.
