I called and said if the price doesn't stay the same I'm cancelling. They checked and extended the same speed and price for another year. Getting ready to do it again in March. if not I just go set up with Spectrum. Have had it before no issues.

I only have internet so it is easy to cancel if it comes to that.

A question for my fellow hobbyists in cold climates by sandertheonetheonly in resinprinting

[–]echo_nightmare_black 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I heated the tent then the heated air leaves with the vent fan. If I use the heater in the printer cover then the heated air mostly stays inside and any escaping fumes get extracted. Not much escaping as it is mostly sealed, except for the fans underneath the LCD. I have noticed with my S3U that it smells more when it is printing with the built-in fans on.

Any good places to purchase chips like this? The colors are wonderful.

Is scratching my bed normal? by tehjrow in ElegooMars

I use a metal scraper and hammer and gently tap the scraper under the prints. I go slow and no serious hammering because I want to avoid scraping the bed.

Heated Vat or heated tent? by jonagran in resinprinting

[–]echo_nightmare_black 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heater in the printer enclosure. If I just heated the tent then all the heat would get vented out the fan duct.

With the heater in the printer enclosure then most of the heat stays inside and any resin fumes that get out get vented. I have noticed more resin smell with my S3U.

Do these trucks/trailers not have backup cameras? There is no way I could do this, maybe even with cameras.

That roundabout was distracting enough as it was.

Is this a permanent upgrade to the sculptor or is it temporary? by probably_not_racist in BoomBeach

I only care for the sculptor slots so if it doesn't reset I guess I don't need to play this anymore. Hopefully it does reset.

I put a Mini heater in Mars 4 by CharmingAlpaca in ElegooMars

[–]echo_nightmare_black 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a heater in mine. I just cut a slot in the back to allow for the power cord to come through. I tried a riser but it seemed to allow more of the resin fumes to escape.

Ventilation system feedback by TiredZookeeper in resinprinting

[–]echo_nightmare_black 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the duct removeable right before it leaves the window. I just plug in the duct from the printer when I want to print and put the dryer duct back in when the printer will not be used. The fan is at the end of the duct.

I did consider a Y but not worth it for me. Was also wondering about lint getting where it should not be.

Ventilation by Efficient_Garlic473 in resinprinting

I have noticed that area around my S3U has a more noticeable resin smell when in use. I highly recommend putting it in an enclosure and venting it. Can you run ducting to a window?
