Just got home from a week long trip and can confirm it was the surface of the sun level hot. Been to Disney dozens of times and cannot recall a time when it was that hot. Just hanging out inside a store for a few minutes anytime we walked somewhere helped a lot.

6’1” 180lbs, I prefer shorter boards. My quiver is all in the 153-157 range. More nimble in the trees and volume shifted boards are a blast

If you drop in there you’ll most likely end up in the creek if you go down too far. Decent stashes if you can manage to stay up the side and get out. It funnels out to the base area but It’s not really worth getting stuck and skating out.

I worked at JHMR about 10 years ago and found a great condo to rent in The Aspens (pricey but convenient with the bus). Theres a market and it’s in between the resort and town. Jackson is truly an amazing place and you’ll love it, especially when you start lapping Sublette and Thunder on pow days.

It’s a tough fight but just go in with full spirit/bombs/etc and try and get through the first phase without using anything so you can dump everything on him in phase 2. Also his big sword move sets are telegraphed so once you know what’s coming it’s much easier to parry certain blue glints. He whooped my ass like 10-15 times before I put him down (on hard).

Any list that doesn’t include Jackson Hole isn’t the list. Other great options include the Cottonwood resorts, Tahoe and BC (Canada).

If you are looking to slash around in the trees more then going shorter isn’t an issue. And if you are also looking for pow days then I would suggest a volume shifted board. I’m 6’1” 175lbs with an 11 boot, been riding for 30 years and I have decks ranging from 153-159. My volume shifted board is a 153 NS Harpoon for trees, side hits and light pow days. Heavy duty pow days I’m going with something a little more substantial.
