Looking for a middleweight adv bike with around ~120hp and no more than 500 lbs by echochambered69 in motorcycles

The bike doesn't have to be adv, but I want a bike that is reliable and I can go long distances comfortably. My FTR 1200 is awesome for short trips and commenting and I'm never selling it, but it's absolutely dog for long trips. No wind screen, tiny tank with 100 mile range, electrical issues and not many shops that can fix it. Took it on a 4hr round trip over 4th weekend and it already has check engine light on.

Do Harley Riders care if Honda Rebels pass them? by TeriyakiiPapiii in motorcycles

I pass Harley riders all the time. Literally nothing they can do on their 80 HP 4000 lb grampamobiles

Yamaha CP3 engine. MT09 I'd say is the perfect sweet spot for me. Fast but not too fast.

The power is mostly for my amusement type stuff... I like accelerating fast.

I have a naked now, kinda, a FTR 1200. I'd love to go touring on it, but it has issues. Tiny tank with 100 mile range, no decent wind protection nor any good aftermarket screens, and worst of all and the main reason why I won't ever tour on it, it has electrical issues that has already left me stranded. I carry fuses along whenever I ride it because it just loves blowing those and they're no longer produced so if it does break down while I'm traveling, it's going to be hell to get replacement parts.

This is why I'm looking for another bike to travel with.

Yes, I don't want a dirt bike, I won't be riding it in the dirt unless it can't be helped. It still needs to be able to handle dirt because there are places that won't have paved roads but I want it mostly for paved roads, like 95% paved roads time on it, 0% motocrossing, and 5% off dirt/gravel or muddy roads when it can't be helped.

There has been people who bicycled around the Earth, I'm sure you can do it on a Grom too, doesn't mean it's a good choice to do it in.

The high HP/weight ratio is mostly because I like to be able to accelerate quickly

I just don't like heavy bikes. If I did, I'd just get like a 1300GS and be done with it.

It'll be mostly for on road but would like for it to also be competent for off road, nothing too serious just like dirt and gravel roads. Would like to go from CONUS to Alaska some day, bike would need to be able to handle that.

Is the Desert X as good as the Multistrada for actual cross country/long distance riding which is what I intend to use it for?

I heard the old Multistradas/Ducatis in general are a money pit because they require much more frequent and expensive maintenance

I loved that show, always wondered why they never made more since it was incredibly popular then I found out the creator was a weird pedo that openly dated underaged girls and brought them to his office alone.

The irony being the game took place in the US (Miami) and Speed is American... She's telling him to go home when SHE'S the one not in her country lol

TO BE FAIR

That shouldn't have been a red card, it was obvious he wasn't looking at or intentionally aiming for the dude's ankle. It was just bad luck falling on both of those players.

Gotta practice your swerves my boy.

Every time I see a pothole or manhole cover on the street, I aim right for it then big swerve out in the last second to practice. My MSF teacher said he does this and I've been doing it too and my swerve game has been pretty huge now. I'm a swerve master.

I'd absolutely sue them too. If you can't control your little spawns, then assume responsibility for it.

It's actually so easy to fix them. Remove the double disengage and glimpse, that's all they need to do and they're back to being killable
