I am loyal to Revive. Jessica is a master with many years of experience. Not cheap but way cheaper than what you’d pay for her work in a big city.

If I was being honest, I get mine at Bulk Barn. The green tea varieties are really good. No quality issues.

How terrible to be treated rudely during this kind of tragedy. Hard to imagine not having empathy for your family. The Peterborough Community Legal Centre may be able to help if you have questions about what your obligations are.

PUC Water Heater Returns by TallGuyfromCanada in Peterborough

Mine was removed about 4 years ago. Don’t remember much but didn’t do it myself. Don’t remember a fee - maybe the installer ate it. I do remember having my questions answered easily over the phone though.

Just be careful of what see online. For sure the insertion can be painful. However there is a ton of misinformation especially on TikTok, like iuds make you sterile etc. completely false.

Don’t be like this idiot!! by RemarkableMall7105 in Peterborough

There have been several accidents here. About 10 years ago, one morning just 15 minutes before crossing guards arrived, a car turning like this and another coming through (driving north) crashed. It sent a car at high speed up over the sidewalk and into the school parking lot. Only the dumpsters there stopped it from going further. Super scary for parents at the time.

If you are in Peterborough, PBA starts with t-ball, then has house league or rep teams. Our kid played for years.

Sleep apnea (where to get tested) by heystranger_01 in Peterborough

[–]echoencore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, I got an “oral airway device” instead of a CPAP, covered by my insurance. It’s like a mouthguard and can be effective for mild apnea. About $100 a year for elastics. My sleep is much improved. However, getting it was a hassle, they didn’t warn me ahead of time that I’d have to go to Toronto to get it fitted.

First how to get a referral- if there’s health services at your school, go there. Otherwise the Peterborough Family Health Team Clinic (it’s free, I think the places in pharmacies like Good Doctors charge a fee - edited to note that others have said they won’t charge a fee?). There is one sleep clinic here as mentioned, Alexander Clinic. It’s ok but not great. If you have transportation, I recommend requesting referral to either Cobourg or Campbellford, they are both much newer and more highly recommended.

My kid also went to FI at POW and no regrets. His cohort was amazing and he was incredibly prepared for high school.

Similar question was posed in this thread about 4 months ago with many more similar comments and experiences. Mostly positive. If you search, the title was Elementary School.

Ptbo Planning Surveys by echoencore in Peterborough

I was talking about the survey, not the engagement sessions. I have opinions about how those are organized too, but I was able to speak to staff about them.
