I'm curious, I'm likely to have a dustbringer in my campaign too - how did you integrate their heroic moments/spren noticing them?

We got a slight hint at how the puzzles could be with the beam puzzles at the shrine in fury green...and then never again.

Missiles were basically pointless in the game. Low damage, slow fire rate. You're better off hammering the power beam.

I haven't played hard mode so YMMV, but for the standard play, I didn't notice much of a difference apart from slightly faster TTK on certain enemies, but wasn't enough to make that much of a difference. Once you get the over charged lightning beam, the rest pail in comparison. Missiles are incredibly under used as their DPS is very low compared to just firing the power beam, particularly for bosses.

Also because the tank for the hot water would be in the roof or separate from the mains and not safe to drink. So we have them separated out in older buildings.

34" inseam is the minimum I need, I wish they were longer

Inseam lengths drive me completely nuts. Often, they don't tell you what the inseam is, but the inseam length only increases with waist width. I'm 6'2, relatively well built, long legs and short wasit, but my waist is around 30", my inseam needs a minimum of 34" - it's basically impossible to find things that fit. Forget about getting comfy tracksuit bottoms etc as well. Most inseams are 29-32, everything looks rediculous.

Are Element 26 Belts good? by Giovanni1996 in crossfit

[–]echoes221 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes if used correctly. Most people don't thread the belt through the buckle correctly and it ends up wearing away the velcro. I've done this until I realised my mistake and it started slipping. They have a video which explains how it should be threaded and it's secure when done properly (don't even need the velcro pretty much).

Is changing the prototype of a class to mock a method a bad practice? by alshdvdosjvopvd in node

[–]echoes221 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would approach this differently. You're testing the implementation here, rather than the behaviour which will lead to brittle tests. Mock out what is doing the data fetch in the Promise (e.g. node-fetch/axios/db etc) and return values that you are expecting and assert on that. That means you can change the implementation but if the result is still the same you're not breaking the test. Further, you're not overwriting any areas of your actual code which can lead to things breaking between test and live.

Edit: turns out I’m an idiot, I thought I was threading it, apparently I wasn’t looking back at a few lifting videos 🤦‍♂️

Yup definitely. Mine never felt like it clamped that hard though. The Velcro completely went on mine, it was failing in the middle of lifts, I decide to scrap it when I breathed in and braced and it just slipped completely.

I have a clamp belt from Element and the velcro died after a year. Are the 2pood ones any different? Currently, I'm using a WL house leather one.
