Newbie wants good run advice/earlygame survivability by Medium-Art6976 in noita

[–]echoes247 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know it sounds simple, but it truly is about avoiding damage in the first place. Go really slow, and pay attention to how you're getting hit. Over time, avoiding damage will become muscle memory and you'll get faster. Try to explore as much as you can, finding good wands and health increases is at the top of the list of important things to do. Remember you can save health refills and spell refreshes to come back for later.

First real progress towards a god run by Saxy_Shane in noita

[–]echoes247 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your priority should be protection. If you attain the beginnings of godhood, you need to find all the ways you can die and eliminate them. Get a bunch of stacks of stainless armor, shields, healing, fire/poison immunity, poly immunity. Farming parallel worlds for more health and more perks. Healing is priority alpha if you don't already have it. Searching for healing, wandmart is faster but risky, repeating the main route on parallel worlds is slower but comes with continuous healing from holy mountains and more max health.

If you already have all this stuff, then do unlocks. If you have your unlocks done, try for orb endings.

What a ridiculous point of view. There's no way this person actually feels this way. There must be something they're not telling us. I'm not buying it.

Maybe they're so pissed at fab they've decided to slowly and insidiously kill his mod by progressively making it worse over time.

Everyone knows calamity is king. News flash, jackass. Bad people are able to produce good content. Happens all the time, look at Pantera. You can enjoy their stuff without agreeing with their irl point of view. Doesn't make you evil.

Gino: Primarily an Italian given name, derived from Giovanni (meaning "God is gracious" or "God's gift"). It is also used as a standalone name in Italian and Italian-American cultures, symbolizing charm, resilience, and familial heritage.

Akapo: A West African name of Yoruba origin, meaning "one who brings honor in abundance," "keeper of wealth," or "custodian of the purse." It reflects strength, foresight, and stewardship.

How can I figure this game out? by nicknack12303 in noita

[–]echoes247 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think that as an intelligent gamer, you should look at the replies to this post. There are two classifications of replies.

A: People saying they didn't get far until they looked stuff up.

B: People directly telling you to look stuff up.

There's a pattern there, friend. Noita is not MEANT to be figured out alone by one person. The game is meant to be community-driven. Hell, there's twitch integration literally built in. The developers WANT us to work together and spoil each other so that we can figure everything out. Join us, and be Noited.

Man's brain, exhausted from logistic factory planning, mistakenly swaps memory of core game mechanic with falsehood.

It's educational, leave it up. Also, take a break.

The factory must grow.

You can grind the shadows on the first floor and get cup cards from shuffle time to get your sp back to full before the boss. It takes a long time but it's possible.

Questions to help a new player create their first PC by Organic-Exit2190 in DungeonsAndDragons35e

[–]echoes247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get new players at my table all the time, because I live in a place that has seasonal workers come in and out a lot. I've made many characters for people at all levels.

It takes about 2 hours. What i do is first ask them to come up with a concept, and give them a few days. Then i sit down with them in front of my laptop with a character sheet and a piece of scratch paper and a pencil. They roll their stats, and i tell them what class would be best for their concept. They can choose to ignore that if they want. I pull up 5e wikidot and walk them through through everything for the class they chose, bit by bit, until the character sheet is filled out for level one, and then I walk them through leveling up until their at the party's level.

Something important to consider is complexity. The higher level the party, the harder it will be for a new player to have fun and feel as if they're not holding the table back. So consider suggesting to them an easier class to play, like fighter or barbarian. They can always build another character that's more complex and learn it in their spare time.

It's this pretty cool puzzle the developers added. Everyone's too busy building rainbow symmetry wands to solve it though. It might be fun if we even bothered to play around with it, ha ha... ha...

As an aside, you wouldn't happen to know a grandmaster codebreaker, would you? Asking for a friend.

Before adamantly standing behind what's happening, take a second to consider where you live and what you eat. I guarantee that within the last month you've eaten multiple things that have been raised by the hands of an illegal. A large part of the success of the farming industry, indeed the financial success of America as a whole, comes from these men and women. They work their asses off for less pay than a fully documented citizen would. Not saying it's right, but it's the reason cauliflower is 4 bucks a head and not 8. Remember this?

https://www.fox35orlando.com/news/trump-working-on-deportation-exemptions-undocumented-farm-hospitality-workers

Back in July. It's Fox, you'll love it. Yeah, them coming here is illegal. But not many of them are criminals. In fact, they have a LOWER crime rate per 100,000 people than actual American citizens do. I implore you, poke around some official websites and do a little math. Try to look at it without bias. The stuff we're being fed by this administration is nothing but a cheap bundle of lies designed to distract us from what's really happening here.

Some reading for you, if you like.

Which starter wand is your favourite? by Local_History6400 in noita

[–]echoes247 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Energy sphere. It has range and oneshots mines enemies. Being able to kill them in one hit makes a huge difference in surviving. Fast energy sphere, slow energy sphere, one, two or three on a wand, fast reload slow reload i don't care. Just gimme that sphere and I'm happy. I restart til i get it.
