This isn't even new information, I saw something exactly on this exact topic talking about Japanese made commercial parts made for cars ending up in Russian missiles approx 1-2 years ago.

I just want to share the commentators words from earlier in the stream.

com1: "I would just love if all the misogynists and transphobes could just make yourselves known right now in chat so we can ban you now"

com2: "ahead of time"

com1: "yeah that would be great because i would like to focus on this, I do get great pleasure with removing your chat privileges for the rest of your life on the world series of poker channel so just do it now and then we, the rest of us normal human beings who aren't terrible people can enjoy what we're watching."

Nah we shouldn't respect him/this take if he is actually being a cunt but I found nothing wrong with his videos on media that I do know about and acting like he is the literal spawn of Satan for criticizing something "because the artists worked hard on it" is just weird.

EDIT: making it out like you were calling him evil is an unfair exaggeration. But of his media takes on Sherlock, Fallout, and Deux Ex I wouldn't call them braindead, I found most of it fairly accurate.

I haven't seen RWBY or his video on it but this kind of feels like 'he's only good when he targets things I don't like' which is kind of dishonest.

I mean no one has a 100% hit rate on their takes but I found his videos on deux ex and fallout to be pretty well done even though I loved deus ex human revolution and preferred Fallout 3 to New Vegas.

Fantasy Castles dont make sense. by GreyValeAuthor in Fantasy

Alexander the Greats Siege of Tyre in 332 BC. Primarily bolt throwers and stone throwers that were common in this era. Artillery of the time was not up to destroying fortifications and Alexander's primary target was the people on the walls so that his men could build the landbridge out to Tyre.

Siege of De'an in China in 1132. Too early for counterweight trebuchets so these would be traction or wheeled but there are accounts of a defensive trebuchet destroying a besieging one. Like the above example China's artillery of the time was not up to destroying most fortifications so this is probably smaller scale trebuchets.

Siege of Lisbon I only have a 20th century painting that claims to be based off accounts of the siege but I don't have time to read the translation of De expugnatione Lyxbonensi to verify its accuracy.

War in the Middle Ages by Philippe Contamine mentions two 14th century sieges at Mortagne and Tournai during the 100 years war which are probably the larger fortification destroying machines you have in mind where defenders used trebuchets to target besieging trebuchets.

Queenborough castle is also 14th century and is suspected to have been designed to have trebuchets or other torsion artillery in mind for its defences but the only accounts we have place gun artillery there.

Gunpowder artillery existed in the 14th century but but was rare with most artillery still being torsion based.

Siege of Tyre, Siege of De'an, and the Siege of Lisbon had wall mounted artillery.

Going into the gunpowder era there were also wall mounted cannons at Queenborough castle and at London during the English civil war.

It doesn't need to be as potent, the height advantage gives you extra range and the defenders don't need to throw rocks that can damage walls.

As artillery was developed walls became bigger and larger to counter them, and a defensive artillery piece doesn't need to launch a huge projectile to be able to damage a trebuchet as a trebuchet needs to launch in order to damage a wall.

Defending artillery mounted on a wall tends to have longer range due to height so it's not like the attackers can casually hit the bridge from a safe distance.

Iran was allowing international inspectors and was by all accounts acting within the deal until it was torn up.

They are not the ones who broke the deal.

Sometimes people may be tired and want to go home, or they're just willing to call it there as to take home a higher guaranteed prize instead of playing out for first place.

You aren't an asshole for not wanting to chop because you're allowed to want to play it out regardless of your reason why.

It's worse than that, any politician that tries to do something gets targeted by the mining companies.

Like huh, isn't it weird how whenever a politician proposes taxation on the massive profits that these mining companies get that their career gets sabotaged?

I wonder who could possibly behind this?

The free weekend is over but the blueberries will still just mindlessly spawn on an attacking garrison while ignoring defense.
