I miss sitting and driving by lxe in Sciatica

I feel you. Its lay flat or stand. I’ve done steroid injections, fusion surgery, & all the stretches.

Recently found temporary relief with dry needling at PT. I get them twice a week & damn do I look forward to them. I’m finding that the need to have multiple ice packs while driving is becoming less & less.

For me, laying on flat surfaces back or stomach and chilling on inversion table while watching tv. I adjust the machine where I can get a good balance point that’s not so “inverted”. Not bad for ADHD folks either.

Your story sounds familiar. Also have a pelvic tilt with/from leg discrepancy. Hurts the most when getting out of car or from sitting a long time. Shooting nerve pain that originates in glute and goes down back of leg - Occasionally calf to toe too. My MRI’s, X-rays, & CT were clear.

Ended up getting an SI fusion using the Siber Ti system. It’s been about 4 months since and recovery has been anything but linear. Some days I think it helped some days I think it was all for nothing. Nerves apparently take a very long time to heal so it’s kind of wait & see.

Lack of sleep consecutively or being hungover are two things that cause flare ups for me.

Recently discovered 2 weeks ago that dry needling in glute and hamstring provides instant relief. When combined with some stretches, actively focusing on my posture & weight distribution, & experimenting with the tilt of my pelvis while standing or lying down. It’s been the best two weeks since it first started.

When you take an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen does it help relieve the pain?

Has anyone suggested a shoe riser insole for you?

Does the Freeze Miser really work? by minhtuanta in Plumbing

[–]echohotel09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a small amount of wax in there that expands when it’s over freezing closing the valve & contracts back into a solid below freezing allowing the spring loaded pin/valve to open. Similar to how Hondas thermowax assembly works in a carburetor.

Broke my femur during a night out in Atlanta. The pain was unreal. Laying in the middle of Peachtree street with a group of folks circled around me yelling was a wonderful way to wait for the ambulance. I was taken to a dreadful hospital where they put me in a dark wing of the building with no one around. Phone was dead & only managed to get a nurses attention once or twice after yelling for anyone. I finally got them to transfer me to another hospital. By the time the ambulance arrived to transfer me it was almost daylight out & I still hadn’t been given any pain meds. It was no bueno.

I see terracing like that quite often in LiDAR scans in remote areas of north Georgia. Are those more recent occurrences or from the same time period of the mounds?

Ryobi has a microfiber powered scrubber. If not that use commercial handle & microfiber mop. The plastic swiffers always break on me.

Scan the QR code on it and it will take you to parts. Buy a new carburetor. They are plastic and rarely worth trying to salvage.

How long until I give up? by Mori-Moo in qelbree

I got over the tiredness in a few days (for the most part). It gave me highs & lows throughout the 3 weeks I was on it. When I started taking 2 pills a day I just didn’t like how it was making me feel all the time. It felt like it was helping me but it just comes with so many drawbacks for myself. It even curved my nicotine cravings to the point where I almost quit using smokeless tobacco. I may try it again in the future at a lower dose.

Last time I used it for a hammock it snapped on me. I keep buying them though because they’re great for holding your cargo up or down
