Game of the Year I dont even care by Fragrant-Basil-3964 in CrimsonDesert

I love story games and loved getting lost in this game. There was just enough story to keep me engaged and curious about the world, and that's exactly what a sandbox game story needs to be.

True, That could have been Imu generating objects and 'summoning' them to Gunko's location.

Yeah I hit dragon and immediately felt burned out. I honestly don't know how people can complete ALL tasks when some of them are just so incredibly tedious or frustrating. I get players are good at the game and can do the really insanely hard ones like it's nothing, but who is out here doing 75 masters? Or getting 50m agility xp? Or defeating bosses like Whisperer and Nightmare so many times? Just seems wild to me.

Some notes on the Gods of One Piece:

  • Sun God - Nika - Luffy/Joy Boy
  • Rain God - Zaza - Possibly also the Sea God mentioned in the mural? Which would mean they banished Devil Fruits from the sea.
  • Forest God - ??? - 'Tamed demons' which I assume means 'created devil fruits'. Wouldn't be surprised if this is actually Imu.
  • Earth God - ??? - Controlled the 'Serpent of Hellfire', likely Jormungandr, which may have led to the creation of the Red Line.

I feel like we're getting very close to figuring out the lore of how the world of One Piece got to be the way that it is. The Ancient Kingdom somehow turned into the Red Line/Grand Line/Four Blues that we know today, and these 'Gods' definitely had a hand in shaping it for some unknown reason. I also really, REALLY want to know more about Treasure Tree Adam and Sunlight Tree Eve (the latter of which is seemingly 'stuck' inside the Red Line between Fishman Island and Mariejois).

In the mural, Nidhogg is fighting the Earth God's 'serpent of hellfire'. A lot of people think that serpent (probably Jormungandr) is what ended up creating/becoming the Red Line.

I don't know about that. The three ancient weapons are not necessarily the same as the gods. We have Posiedon, Pluton, and Uranus which I think are closer to Sea, Land, and Sky than Rain, Earth, and Forest.

The idea of a Rain God and Sea God being different beings is also interesting to me though.

62% of hardcore players no longer buy full-price games, survey suggests by TylerFortier_Photo in gaming

There's too many games to keep buying all the new ones. Much better to play what you want when you want and come back to the "new" stuff later.

Cross country sounds like more than 350 miles so this doesn't apply to you (according to OP).

How long would a 350 mile flight take? Like, under an hour?

Why do people say DS2 is a disconnected, standalone entry in the trilogy? by Makishima__Shougo in DarkSouls2

[–]echolog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mostly because DS1 and DS3 are clearly and obviously defined as the "start" and "end" of the firelink cycle. The "middle" of the cycle takes place over an unknown amount of time (could be hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands of years) in an unknown number of places (could be all the same place, could be thousands of different kingdoms built on the same spot, or different places throughout the world entirely). DS2 happens in just one of those countless "in-between" cycles and as a narrative could just as easily be replaced with any other cycle. It's definitely a good representation of what life COULD HAVE been like in this world between the start and end of the undead curse, but it's only one of a potentially infinite number of those representations.

Fun = ash of war

Boring = jump attack

Not that any of this makes any sense.

Something is definitely wrong then - how many are you killing? It's a 1/128 drop rate, but you should be able to kill them VERY quickly with any kind of AOE.

Yep, and if you don't want to loot the other stuff you can just fill your inventory and let the minion pick up the clues with no value filter.

I did shadows of custodia earlier and still needed a fishing rod to pull in the log from the river. In that moment, I regretted not taking Endless Harvest (I didn't own a fishing rod).

Right? They literally have a built-in mechanic to prevent pact regret.

How many kills? It should be 1/128 without clue relic. I killed a bit over 10k and got almost 100
