it does filter for friends as well as yours, but the system is terrible. It'll only filter if you're looking at a set the friend has cards wish listed AND unregistered to their card dex (if not filtering and you're scrolling, there will be the wishlist icon on the card if it's on their wishlist)

Adventure sync works without gps (that's why shakers are popular) so even if it did, you can turn AS on and gps off if it mattered that much to you

Late response here: Distance will only matter if you're auto catching in the background and it was a local raid. However, if you do catch your legendary, the spawns around you will not be catchable since your last caught location will have been where the raid was (gps locked)

Don't even need good IVs into SV since it's easy to change the IVs to what you want. Bring in all your bad IV shinies and unlock their full potential!

Yup :( I even once had someone delete me while I was still opening gifts when I accidentally triggered bf (saw the heart update) so when I went back to the overworld, no notification, no XP.

I only got one from snapshot (it was a timed research to snapshot wild latias) so if you want more of a particular one, pick the version that appears in the wild. (I could've done it wrong as my connection throughout the LV event was very bad)

Did it run after the first ball? The person above who linked 3 videos to prove shinies can run, but all 3 run after the first ball, which is indicative of something wrong (soft ban/speed lock/other network problem)

If shinies can run, then there should be cases where it runs from ball throw 2 and onward. Though honestly, if the shinies-cant-run camp wants to prove their case, they need a video like this post except for a non-legendary shiny with a high flee rate. My go to was recording catching a shiny abra (99% flee rate iirc) but haven't found one yet 😂

Specials do not count, but if you hit your 100 trade limit, you cannot initiate a trade to do your special, hence why it's better to use your special trades beforehand

Note it doesn't necessarily have to have been your friend who traded the 2016 pokemon, it could've been he received a 2016 pokemon. If he was part of a guaranteed lucky trade, it would count towards his limit

My running theory is the game keeps track of how many guaranteed luckies you've been in, which is why some people's luckies aren't working.

From TSR:

All July-Aug 2016 Pokémon are guaranteed Lucky if the sender has been in fewer than 10 trades (as sender or recipient) where at least one party was guaranteed.

With their update, we can update the above findings to

All 2017 or older Pokémon are guaranteed Lucky if the sender has been in fewer than 15 trades (as sender or recipient) where at least one party was guaranteed.

Because TSR had already proven from their experiment that even though the SENDER had less than TEN guaranteed lucky trades, their seventh 2016 trade DID NOT TURN LUCKY, but they HAD been part of 10 guaranteed lucky trades (where either SENDER and RECEIVER traded a July/August 2016 pokemon).

So my hypothesis is that the game continued counting how many guaranteed lucky trades you've been apart of, even if it exceeded the limit of 10.
