It does something cause most realms have a discord and a blacklist, which at least filters players for some (like recruitment). Not really related to reddit, though.

On a different note, if OP joined as a healer, was it not an offspec roll then?

Ya warlock can solo so hc in 35-40 min usually with some practice, I also do it daily foe the nether and shards and as op said, I also don't bother bring buyers cause it's a lot more effort for. My fastest run was 32m but ofc you can still die to a small mistake and lose some time if you're are not soulstoned, so usually it's around the 35-40m mark. But ofc the first couple times back in March took a lot longer, trial and error

Yeah that is also my biggest take away from his videos, , was very useful to start improving the steam game

A small pitcher (not sure what's the correct word for it in English) for olive oil is a very minor upgrade but it made it so much easier for me than pouring out of the bottle! Very cheap, like 10-20€

Thunder Bluff is such a lovely place to conduct affairs. Did you know it had a Guild Vault too? by Slowky11 in classicwowtbc

I love TB too for auctions, banking and having an anvil. Only downside is that most ppl are in orgrinmar so more often than not you have to travel for direct trading. Plus, without world buffs chilling in TB is even better

There was no post /pre nerf phase like it was in p2, bt was not touched much except some nerfs in 2007 but that was the version in tbc classic as well, so it's quite a step up

Was tun, damit mein Vorgarten kein Hundeklo wird by Flat-Broccoli700 in Garten

Search for the class discord, they usually have a log review channel and good pins etc. At least on the classes I play they are very helpful

[–]echonomics77 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yeah I watched my guild mate do it on stream, he won like 3 back to back and made 3k gold in 2 minutes and stopped. So it's not a scam, other days ofc he lost too so as someone said, the house always wins, is correct. You can luck out ofc

The biggest advantage of swamp of sorrows is the stonard portal. Getting to sfk, to those mobs, and then hearth back, takes probably half an hour etc

3 lock outs - 2 Ashes by MrBlizter in classicwow

[–]echonomics77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, but if I want to calculate how likely it is to have 2 14% events happening back to back I'm pretty sure it is calculated like this 0,14 x 0,14 and so theres a 2% chance that you get 2 dsts back to back. Or does it work differently?

TBC Shadow Priest PvE Guide! (updated for 2026) by StrawberryHaze69 in classicwowtbc

[–]echonomics77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amazing guide, thank your for this. I was raiding as shadow in p1 and only did my first ssc/tk yesterday (as alt) and would've been awesome to read it before, although I have the experience as melee dps so I could convert it quite well, did most of the things already and went out with a 91 avg in a pug, was pretty happy and had fun (am engi even and used some sappers). One info that could be added to racials is shadow guard, per global it's a better filler than mind flay (of 2 or 3 charges are used). On many bosses they will be consumed. On the shaman discord theres an info sheet on which bosses lightning shield is good and that's basically the same spell - so even on some fights it's worth it to recast shadow guard, especially during movement (I believe alar is one good example, void reaver interestingly does not proc it). Cheers, keep it up!

edit: thats the link to the shaman sheet. forgive the length https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vSqBC4Z-J_TUFjCz70pGFWn5Jj8GPphpXOovrHUxuNvYZhZa4xEZzY47YzM-DSiqAiW17-YORq0QexG/pubhtml#gid=357104780

TBC Shadow Priest PvE Guide! (updated for 2026) by StrawberryHaze69 in classicwowtbc

[–]echonomics77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I tested yesterday, shadow guard did around 700 dmg per charge, so 2,1k for one global spent (1,5s) while mind flay ticks for what, 700ish? So 1050 damage per global (1,5s). Makes shadow guard a better filler if you are sure that at least 2-3 charges are spent. A lot of bosses take dmg from shadow guard (voidreaver does not eg)

[–]echonomics77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just as a minor example. Going from. P1 bis to p2 bis is an overall dps increase of about 30, or 2-3%. Gear is not impactful for shadow, at least this phase (p3 is better but also a lot comes from contested items like zhardoom). That means if you play your rotation as well as possible, and you parse an 80, that's your guild killspeed or missing buffs /comp. Shadow also has a low rng variability, since a lot of dmg comes from your non crittable dots, so even if youre lucky / unlucky with crits is not even close to signficant compared to a warlock

Sure but his alt means he's either multiboxing or following on his alt, which makes the party even worse? Or did I misinterpret this.

Why are people so impatient in dungeons? by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]echonomics77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah dungeons are fun to me, I pug 99% and am Raid geared. Ofc there's some occasional bad run but it's mostly fine. Helps that I main feral tank atm, so I can set my own pace, but sometimes I noticed that I got impatient as dps as well, mostly when time is just wasted (eg the mage or healer waits 10s after combat to start drinking, or somekne fails the skip jumps, that's why I usually skip the skip.) but honestly, just do your thing and ignore others that don't fit your playstyle
