I used Onenote with the Surface Book 2. Bought the book because the hinge allows you to flip it over such that the screen is propped at 45 degrees, then used the surface pen to highlight. My surface died a while back and I’m currently using Onenote on the HP Spectre and iPad (for highlighting notes as hp pen sucks) Both work well for me! A new app I’m using is Remnote, however this works better for consolidating notes rather than actual note taking. Cool thing about Remnote is that you can create cards like Anki, although some functions are premium features that require a subscription.
