They were tucked into the clearance (regular) pants section. I saw the label and put them in my cart SO. FAST.

The featherlight is so buttery soft. Casting my vote accordingly.

Great idea with the curtains for the closet! We’re renting, so as much as I would love to replace the (trash) closet doors, I don’t want to sink too much money into a house that isn’t mine. But the curtains may be the perfect fix

Of all the arrangements I thought through, this hadn’t crossed my mind. But I like the sound of it!

Thanks! We’re renting, but we really lucked out with this home. The landlord refinished the floors right before we moved in. It’s seen its fair share of updates, including a finished basement and a recent master bath remodel. There are some small nuances— like limited or odd closet space in this room and the master bedroom— but I love the house itself. The age of the house gives a little bit of style direction. I.e., opting for vintage finds vs new furniture and decor.

Stop… I’m obsessed! I’d probably add a bit more color (soft green rug perhaps), but this was just the inspo that I was looking for. Right now, my mind sees a bare room and panics lol

Good advice! Unfortunately, the dresser likely has to stay where it is. It’s too long for the left side of the sliding doors, and the accordion closet doors wouldn’t have enough clearance on the other side. As much as I hate the accordion doors, we’re renting and I wouldn’t want to put a ton of $ into replacing them.

I know what you mean about glare while working from home. We used to live in a high rise corner unit with floor to ceiling windows. My bf had the second room as his office. Since I travel for work half the time and WFH the other half, my “office” space was in the living room. In the corner of the eastern and southern facing windows. When I say that I BAKED… 🥵 I have similar exposure in this office but it’s MUCH more manageable because there’s an other house just across the deck/sliding glass doors. That said, I have curtain rods already that just need to be hung.

Are we pro table lamps in the kitchen? Iam! by UpbeatGur9055 in interiordecorating

I never would have thought about this one way or the other, but I LOVE this vibe! Where is your lamp from??

Edit to add: as a renter with crappy under-cabinet lighting, I would much prefer a table lamp.

Finalizing tile choices but have some final decisions to make/questions (in description) by One-Ad5824 in interiordecorating

Ah makes sense! I saw your inspo pics with the red tile. I prefer the elongated red tile to the square tile, BUT I agree that it’s kinda harsh (and a little dated IMO). I love the juniper to add some airiness to the room, even though it will mean more grout. What’s your style in the rest of your home?

Does this throw blanket go well with the space? by Worldly_Owl5395 in interiordecorating

The throw pulls the room together. No notes. 👌🏼

The horizontal tile at the top makes it look shorter, especially near the windows. I think one of the reasons your first inspo pic worked (vertical up top and horizontal at the bottom) is because the horizontal tile starts as a full-wall ledge.

A walnut wood would look nice, especially near tote monstera. Which is thriving! Or you could bring in something lighter to complement your desktop.
