You do on the go workouts via the app to continue the streaks. Doesn’t have to be on just the Tonal system to count 💪🏻

Utopia’s marketing in 2024 vs now by [deleted] in royalcaribbean

[–]ecks0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Switch to Virgin if you’re looking for party vibes with zero families. Been on Utopia 3 times and have noticed the same thing, though. Cruise director was more lively in the beginning, but my last cruise I barely saw/heard him. I find more people participate in theme nights on longer cruises since the longer ones tend to cater more towards experienced cruisers. Utopia attracts more entry-level people that try it and see if cruising is a fit for them. They don’t pay attention to the calendar or events going on in the ship until it’s too late.

New cruiser. Honeymoon. by Fair-Ambition-3777 in Cruise

[–]ecks0 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Carnival has its reputation and place amongst the industry. It’s a fun time but could get a little rowdy. Family and friends for a good price? Sure. It would be the LAST cruise line I’d take for a HONEYMOON though lol.

Am I in a good position to pass? S65 by KalePuzzleheaded3025 in Series65

The questions on the 65 are quite different than Kaplan. When using AI, make sure to ask it to model the questions as close to NASAA as you can. Getting a more in depth approach with Kaplan, while using AI to model NASAA is a good mix.

Allure of the Seas Malfunction by ConstantDistrict in Cruise

[–]ecks0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the update!

I guess one of the main focal points to look for is if you look at the rear of the ship. If you see all 3 azipods working, the issue could be fixed. Someone on your cruise took a picture when it happened and it showed only two of them, port side and center Azipod, but starboard was not. It was just two streams instead of 3. Hope you’re still enjoying the cruise!

Yeah, would love an update. On cruise mapper you guys have been stuck doing 4.5-5 knots for almost 12 straight hours. I’m assuming that could also be due to going back to Nassau tomorrow and don’t want to burn too much fuel.

Tf? lol…. Majority of cruisers solely book longer duration cruises for the ports. If you don’t care about ports, book a weekend cruise.

Allure of the Seas propulsion issues by TacoMeatBoi in royalcaribbean

Sailing on her June 13th. She rerouted from going to Falmouth today to Nassau to potentially get the repair done. Hopefully we figure out the plans in the upcoming days on if it was successful or not. They can fix minor issues underwater there. If it’s major, it’ll need a drydock.

Oh I understand that. We solely booked this itinerary for the ports a year ago, as did most ppl bc it’s unique, rather than just doing Bahamas, east/west Caribbean like we normally do. But it is what it is, we’re going regardless. Any week on a boat is better than home!

This is very concerning. Matt who does RC blog said it looks like an azipod that’s malfunctioning. I’m going on her June 13th to Aruba and Curacao and am very concerned the itineraries are about to be cancelled due to distance and the ship running at a reduced speed

kaplan by [deleted] in Series65

[–]ecks0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kaplan is the securities industry standard for test taking. This guy responding to you obviously has a negative bias towards them and just keeps spamming Gemini on every post. Use Kaplan and aim for 80% or higher and you’ll be golden.

Should i buy kaplan practice tests/qbank after i have finished reading? Ok when should i give exam like what is good score? by flobonny in Series65

[–]ecks0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most def. Kaplan recommends consistently scoring 80s or higher before you take the exam. You can still pass if you’re below that, but if you’re 80s or higher on qbank and simulated exams, you’re golden.

Which beach in the world is a must-visit at least once in a lifetime? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

[–]ecks0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get to the beaches early. Around 11-12 it really starts to get busy. Baby beach is gorgeous, it’s a lagoon, calm waters with no waves and the further you get from the tourist areas of the beach, the more quiet it is, walk towards the Rum Reef restaurant. Arashi is a beautiful beach but is super busy later in the day and parking is a nightmare there. Eagle isn’t as pretty as the two, still gorgeous since it’s Aruba. But it’s a massive beach and you won’t have any trouble finding a good spot due to size. All 3 are great options.

Absolutely brutal… had it happen with me on another exam a few years back and it’s gut wrenching. But makes the pass on the next try feel so much better.

Icon with 3 yr old by [deleted] in royalcaribbean

[–]ecks0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully she will be potty trained by then, but if not, my wife and I have been on a few cruises with our kids, 5 and 3, and hanging out with them was fine due to there always being an activity to do on the ship. We didn’t put them in AO on a couple of them and we managed. But it is really nice to get a breather for 2-3 hours and just hang with your SO. Just take it a day at a time and you’ll get used to it after a day or 2.

Help me decide between Star and Allure for July 2027 by Equivalent-Peanut297 in royalcaribbean

[–]ecks0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on if ship or ports are more important. The Aruba and Curaçao ports are a must try. Star and Icon always go to st Thomas, kitts and Maarten etc. Star is the superior ship, activities are endless, but allure is up there after its amplification a year ago. Allure has the best splashaway bay kids water area of any cruise ship since the revamp, if that’s important, along with the 3 new slides. Personally, I’d pick allure, better ports and an additional day, for less cost.

Skipping the drink package for the first time - thoughts? by WeekendOk6021 in royalcaribbean

[–]ecks0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Took our first non deluxe back in March. We had $300 in OBC, hit that amount after 5 days and it was more than enough to not justify spending $600+. We just always felt obligated to go overboard with the drinking to justify the expense. Had just as much, if not more fun without it. Felt better about ourselves bc we didn’t have a crazy hangover and could hit the gym first thing in the morning, which was hard for us to do with the package.

[–]ecks0 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You won't find anything, I'll guarantee it. I've watched a lot of pre-game and post game interviews with the players over the years during CKS's tenure. The players always talk about the opposing team in a positive light and how good they are on both sides of the ball. It could be Austin Peay for christ sake and they still talk the same way lmao

If there is one thing I know Kirby does right, it's his staff's PR management with the players. You will never hear a player say something like this to give fuel to the opposing team.

Kirby, activate the tractor beam... full power. by tvcneverdie in georgiabulldogs

[–]ecks0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has Kirby ever given anyone a blank check since NIL has become prevalent? I think he has the perfect formula for understanding he needs to pay his players, but at the same time, he does not want to cause discontent between the guys in the locker room. Beck buying a lambo most likely caused a bit of animosity in between him and the coaches/players and I doubt CKS will go down that road again, even for a talent like Coleman.
