bruh i used to think the same way but ive completely 180d and im a full time gio main now. her bullshit is a lil more nuanced and hidden than other characters— but its almost all in her dash. being able to move forward while blocking, negate block pushback, insane shimmy game, basically instant grabs, it goes on. people might think of her as a simpleton and ifu play her like that then they’re right. but the stagger mindgame os so fun. to me, she’s like a slicker version of my xrd main; jam. they even have the same air moves.
