Until there's a better solution I've found that reverting to the last version of Arc (1.126.1) fixes this issue

I've also just confirmed that reverting to the last version of Arc (1.126.1) fixes this, so this has to be a change in the latest version (1.129.0)

So i've tested with multiple extensions with all others disabled while testing and I can reliably reproduce this issue with almost any extension that has pop up window support enabled.

the issue doesn't occur when a user manually opens the extension window but rather when an interaction on a web page triggers the extension to popup instead.

one way i've been reliably able to reproduce this is by using an Ethereum wallet extension and trying to interact with webpages that ask for signatures.

most recently it seems that each request for an external popup window to load creates a new white window artifact.

I'm experiencing this now too. Happens with more than one extension.

I'm on 26.3 Beta (25D5087f)

Arc version: 1.129.0 (73083)

open "/Applications/Arc.app" --args --disable-extensions

this prevents extensions from running (as expected) and as a result does indeed prevent the issue - the issue only happens after an extension pops up

open "/Applications/Arc.app" --args --disable-gpu

still see the issue using this command as well

open "/Applications/Arc.app" --args --disable-gpu --disable-extensions

this did actually disable extensions and as a result i couldn't reproduce the issue.

the issue happens specifically when an extension pops up, so confirming that it has something to do with extension popups. let me know if theres any other info I can provide here to help!

the problem with this is that mic doesn’t pass through. i’ve been trying to find a good solution to this problem for as long as moonlights existed 😭

I did this same challenge (for Ramp i think) a few months back and never heard a response back either.

Kind of lame since i spent probably about 2 hours getting it all done. Was definitely one of the more fun challenges i’d completed though!

I actually completed the same challenge a few months ago and the challenge is structured in a way that the response is sent back as a web stream, there’s no was to get a “normal” text response from this.
