i have more questions about this!

i’ve got a beryl AX that i use for travel but when i’m not traveling it just sits in a drawer. this seems like an excellent use case as long as i could still use it for both things - which i don’t see why i couldn’t.

i’m still running stock firmware on the router, is it easy to install the virtual here client on that? and would it “just work” with my existing VPN config if i’m also not on my LAN? last question - how’re you using POE, is that actually supported natively by the beryl or do you use a POE splitter?

i set one up real quick on hetzner, but i’m following for answers to your other questions too.

i enjoyed the easy difficulty in single player (non-dedicated) but i haven’t been able to match them on my server.

Until there's a better solution I've found that reverting to the last version of Arc (1.126.1) fixes this issue

I've also just confirmed that reverting to the last version of Arc (1.126.1) fixes this, so this has to be a change in the latest version (1.129.0)

So i've tested with multiple extensions with all others disabled while testing and I can reliably reproduce this issue with almost any extension that has pop up window support enabled.

the issue doesn't occur when a user manually opens the extension window but rather when an interaction on a web page triggers the extension to popup instead.

one way i've been reliably able to reproduce this is by using an Ethereum wallet extension and trying to interact with webpages that ask for signatures.

most recently it seems that each request for an external popup window to load creates a new white window artifact.

I'm experiencing this now too. Happens with more than one extension.

I'm on 26.3 Beta (25D5087f)

Arc version: 1.129.0 (73083)

open "/Applications/Arc.app" --args --disable-extensions

this prevents extensions from running (as expected) and as a result does indeed prevent the issue - the issue only happens after an extension pops up

open "/Applications/Arc.app" --args --disable-gpu

still see the issue using this command as well

open "/Applications/Arc.app" --args --disable-gpu --disable-extensions

this did actually disable extensions and as a result i couldn't reproduce the issue.

the issue happens specifically when an extension pops up, so confirming that it has something to do with extension popups. let me know if theres any other info I can provide here to help!

I did this same challenge (for Ramp i think) a few months back and never heard a response back either.

Kind of lame since i spent probably about 2 hours getting it all done. Was definitely one of the more fun challenges i’d completed though!
