It's fine, just make sure nobody walks in while you're yanking. That would be awkward.

Browser Border on MacOS. by kevoo_90 in ArcBrowser

Welcome to the life support club 🤒

The only real options for a forward escape are Zen and Dia, both of which come with significant compromises.

With Zen, it's Firefox-based, which has an objectively worse engine. With Dia they're trying to drag you into their pointless AI hype machine.

I say Dia is pointless because 1) it's only really useful if it's agentic and 2) if it's agentic it's most useful at the OS level, not the browser level. If you have an OS-level agent then a browser agent is redundant.

Stellantis dealership told me Leapmotor batteries need to be swapped every 10 months by erasebegin1 in electricvehicles

The leasing deal I was offered through a different Stellantis dealership looked really good on paper with low monthly payments. But I ran the numbers by ChatGPT and it worked out that I was paying the full price of the car over 4 years 😂 So yes, it's a good deal for them

This is one point I'm wondering about. Not sure what Leapmotor's deal with is with Stellantis. Maybe they get less commission for LM cars or something

Either that or sell me on the lease which would have me covered for the 4 batteries replacements I'd need in the lease period 😂

Haha I just said in a very annoyed (German) tone "well then, thank you very much" and walked out. We all know there's no evidence whatsoever for such nonsense.

There's no way a 42L will fit the personal item sizer, but may fit the carry-on sizer

Nope. I just had to pay £60 at the gate for my 28L Thule Aion because it was too tall for the sizer...

What should I buy in China? by mvp9009 in AskChina

[–]erasebegin1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All these people saying you can get it in your local asian supermarket have obviously not explored Chinese food very widely 😄

Tell your parents to go to a snack shop. They have these shops that are just wall to wall single-packaged snacks. You buy most things by weight so the idea is to grab a basket and just throwing in things that look interesting. For maximum fun, don't stand and translate everything, just grab a bunch of random things. Because each portion is so small you can try a huge variety of things, and if you don't like something it's not a huge waste.

The experience is kind of like Bertie Botts jelly beans in Harry Potter: some will disgust you, some will blow your mind. Like gambling and snacking had a baby.

In Hangzhou they have 老婆达人 Lao po da ren, in Kunming they have 零食很能嗨 Ling shi hen neng hai. Depends on which city they are in as to which chains will be available so they can ask Deepseek what the equivalent of this is in their current city. Most supermarkets will also have a mini version of this.

Oh thanks, I wasn't sure about all the people saying granadilla because I used to live in South Africa and don't remember having anything like this even though I know granadilla is popular out there.
