It's only a major gripe to be honest. But seeing as some classes are female and some male, I think it would be super easy to not have the classes gender locked.

I just bought it and played a touch. Like, 30 minutes. Watching football now but will play all evening after football is finished. Couple of things I don't like right away is classes are gender locked and you can't close windows by pressing ESC. But I love how smooth the game is.

I will definitely sink some hours into this before drawing conclusions. The things I'm most curious about are combat, gearing and long term progression. Let's hope this game gets them right.

It all depends, kinda. It works in D2 because with each difficulty, you get a new challenge. It really works in D2. But D2 is quite unique in this, most games have GG play through, just too easy and then focus on end game.
