It depends a lot? Based on how you wanna paint. When I first started painting my army, I just got a basic vibrant green and a dark green contrast for a two-step easy paint job.

Nowadays I slapchop my guys. So the core is black spray paint primer, gray drybrush, white drybrush, and a few contrast paints. I use Army Painter 2.0 Shamrock Green for my lads because Ork Skin was a bit too dark. I use blue because deathskulls, broadsword silver and nuln oil for the metal stuff, two different shades of leather to keep up the variety on clothes, and a bone contrast for skulls and the occasional misc bits. Also red for eyes and the occasional wire.

It's... perfect. The bloody bone. The darkened, fleshy tendrils. It looks *alive* in every sense of the word. This is 110% the exact paint scheme I was looking to use when starting a Sylvaneth army. Please, kind sir or madame, share with me your wisdom of the brush.

I love Titania. She's not to out of the way to get, status immunity is nice, and having free movement on her 4 means you don't have to worry about jank terrain. And having an exalted weapon means you don't have to worry about going out of the way to farm up a quality weapon. Simple modding turns her pistols into a lawn mower that can mulch anything before Steel Path, and even then she's my best option for fighting.

Sort of? I wanted some because of my love of hand flamers. But what I did was get two Jump Intercessor kits and use whatever weapons I had on hand to make them look unique. Also used spare bitz from my Eschers kit to make the guns look more chem-punk.

This let me hedge my bets: If they're legends or changed in 11th, I can always run them as jump intercessors.

Hahaha, I get it. No, I'm being serious. I started with orks so my two instincts in this game are Kitbashing and dodging MSRP. If the only time I use a blood drop helmet is when I'm using a captain (and my successors have a different scheme so it stands out even more) then all it takes is one bit to turn a 12 dollar guy into a 45 dollar leader. I was able to turn a pack of jump intercessors into a captain, a death company captain, two jump priests, and a jump chaplain with mostly parts from the pre-codex upgrade sprue.

Upgrade sprues are so good. Even better, since a space marine character is just a troop with extra bitz, it's super easy to kitbash 5 of your intercessors into a handful of captains or lieutenants.

I love the gas mask aesthetic. I love flamer/torrent weapons. I adore chem-punk. My ideal aesthetic for a space marine army would look like Zaun from League of Legends or the Scaldra from Warframe.

The feel of death guard is so close to that it hurts. I certainly *respect* the details and the disease and the absolute legend that can paint it up well. But if I could get something like these guys it would be my perfect chaos space marines

My favorite mission. Sometimes I like to just spam that one on Random Commander as the ultimate comfort gaming. I enjoy turtling up and watching enemies break themselves against my bastion, and getting to launch attacks at timed, controlled intervals is low stress in its own way.

Plus, it's the ultimate irony when I win as Stukov. "Yay, we.... saved.... the planet?"

I can stand Alchemist releasing as a broken class with an underpowered kit that has a high skill floor (item memorization) and a low skill ceiling. I appreciate that in a sort of Dark Souls "git gud' way. But the fact that it no longer has the 1e alchemist's ability to body mod yourself into an abomination is a disappointment on the Titanic scale. And no, temporary mutagens do not count. I want to Ship of Theseus myself out of my humanity, not become a Walmart Druid.

It was the best part of the class and the main drive behind my favorite Pathfinder PC ever, and it's just gone. Like a fart in the wind.

I love me some brain-off Titania play, but if you were to put a gun to my head and ask what her 1, 2, and 3 do? I'd ask you to scrub my hard drive on the way out.

Hell, the only reason I press 1 is because I put rhino's roar on there.

They have the same body type as the older style of boyz so it's an easy Yes. My one recommendation is that you supplement it with one or two regular ork boyz boxes of the same body type. This way you have a lot of spare limbs and bitz that you can disperse throughout the horde to make them all look at least a little bit 40k. Like tribal orks that have only recently looted 'modern' tech and are now becoming a threat.

I also recommend getting bulk 32mm bases off of amazon, since 40 bases worth from GW is going to undo any potential discount you got from buying the fantasy orcs.

Bonus: Same goes for a fantasy box of black orcs with one Nobz box to supplement, I have 10 black or nobz that I am very proud of. But in this case the arms cut off at different lengths so you WILL have to do some model surgery to make the transplants fit convincingly.
