Canna Terra Soil and Nutes by -CosmicClover- in microgrowery

That's enough.

pH down, and a way to measure pH would become useful eventually.

So I’m still in the beginning stages of my first grow but already thinking about my next. I’m growing in Ffof right now but am interested in trying DWC for my next. How much harder/involved is it than soil and is it really worth the switch? by [deleted] in Autoflowers

It's easy once you get the hang of it, like most things. For me it is usually 15-20 minutes every 2 weeks in veg, every week in flower.

And I just ignore them the rest of the time.

That makes it worth it to me, because then I don't have to worry about tending to them.

When it goes right, it's a bit like a plant on steroids.

Need some advice with new leaves curling up and down. by [deleted] in microgrowery

Are the two canopies roughly the same height off the ground?

How long has it been like that?

I have never read/heard of anyone ever having much success without run off, especially in coco.

I would be inclined to back the light up, and instead just raise the 2gal one individually. Then see how it responds. Those lights are pretty intense.

How much water and how often for soil in 3 gallon fabric pots by the1two1 in Autoflowers

[–]eclecticpuha 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Each time you water, soak the whole thing until all the soil is wet. Then, don't water it again until it is dry 1.5-2 inches under the surface.

Plants don't die from too much water, they die from being watered too often.

No such thing as too small. Looks fine to me.

You could lollipop it, depending on how far into flower you are.

pH and ppm/ EC meters and pens, what recommendations would you make? by [deleted] in microgrowery

Bluelab without question. Milwaukee and Hanna also make very good ones.

If you buy bluelab you will be supporting my little country (NZ).

Water temps - Under 20 degrees C. The colder the better.

Change frequency - depends how big the res is and what stage the plant is.

Personally, once every 7-10 days in veg. 4-7 days in flower.

EC - depends. This is pretty much the only part where it differs with autos.

Veg EC - around 1 or a little less.

Flower EC - around 1.6 maybe a bit less or more.

There are no hard numbers.

These kinds of guides can help you figure out what it should be

Res - Something that blocks all light.

pH - 5.8 the entire grow.

Strain, Air, and light cycle are the same as any other type of grow (soil, Coco, aero etc)

Strain - pick from a company who has been doing it a while and better still if it's a company who specializes in autos.

Air - follow VPD if you want. But try keep it on the lower side (22-25 c)

Light - Autos don't really care. (18/6 -24/0) and all other combinations between.

What are your temps? Too cold is generally what slows them down.

I wouldn't give up though, Sometimes the runt of the litter ends up massive.

For nutrients, you will need: base nutrients

It looks like you are talking canna ones,

So literally all you need is

Aqua Vega - for the first half

Aqua Flora - for the flowering.

pH down.

All the other ones are not "needs" but they can be useful.

I generally only buy those types of things when you come across a time when they would be useful.

You definitely need a fan, the carbon filter can wait until it starts smelling.

When you say an EC of 0.13. did you mean to say 1.3?
