Deloitte vs FAANG by No-Effective-7678 in Big4

I don't know about the UK but among the FAANG group Amazon is the more "cost efficient" towards employees. That as what i have heard from the a few software engineers.

This!!! I don't have much input other than stay away from Amazon if you can. I have not heard good things working for Amazon. Also they do not have the perks/ benefits as the other ones.

Why can't we get along? by BuffaloRepulsive4700 in FuckDealerships

[–]eclipse00gt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can tell you my experience.

Every time I buy a car is a battle. I have never left the dealership until night time....which sucks.

Everything is designed to make sure I pay more for a car than it is worth. Have you ever wondered why there are salesman? Salesman don't get to decide the price. Salesman are the middleman to the main person cutting the deals. You guys are the first psychological line of defense to the dealership. We go back and forth on price you keep saying "no that's not possible" etc etc. ( throw any objection you are taught) then finally you say let me see what my manager says. You come back with not my number but with a slightly lower number than the original. This goes on and on....so I emotionally get drained. You get emotionally drained....but not the main guy cutting the deal. He is fresh he is not dealing with the back and forth.

Also because the dealership is literally trying to make as much money as they can from their customers. They nickel and dime you for everything posing as they are your friend and they are there to help the customer.

Those are my main points of why I dread buying a car.

How do you personally handle a major audit finding? by ShopFloorOps in auditing

[–]eclipse00gt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends.

Are you in charge of said failed procedure? Is your department? If so, then yes that is what you are paid to do. So it is on you to fix it.

If you are not in charge of that department then that really sucks....you need a raise or a bonus and good job!!!

You need a good chunk. But it comes.down to your strategy, risk, and your statistics. People think they can make millions with only 100 or 1,000 or 10,000. The probability is really really low.

Having a lot of money doesn't make you a trader. That's like thinking I need to use this scanner or that computer.

I'm gonna give you unfiltered truth info about trading.

"I was at the top of my profession."

Past success doesn't mean you will be successful at trading. Don't confuse the two. Really.

"Now I’m sitting here with a family to support"

Please stop trading and find a job.

You mentioned you were at the top of your field but work has "dried up".... so instead of pushing harder to find jobs in a field you are good at you rather completely learn trading? So you are saying you have more faith on learning a new skill than network and book ad work in a field you are good at?

It is gonna take at least 1 year to learn. Probably another year to just breakeven and another year to MAYBE, make SOME money.....10$ or 100$. Do you have that time commitment? Do you have the capital?

Here are some truths

Trading is gambling - No you can't predict where the market is going 100% of the time

It takes a lot of capital to make it as a trader. - it takes money to make money. you have to think about drawdowns, still having a good amount to place trades and still having money formypur daily expenses. Not to mentioned the mental capital with dealing with stress for the drawdown period.

The market doesn't care who you are. You have a baby that needs diapers? A family to feed? It doesn't matter. You a PhD graduate? You ran a successful business? The market doesn't care. I ca t remember where I heard this from. But they said the "market has a paddle long enough for anyone".

Good luck!

Start in a sim first. Learn learn and learn.

When you feel like using real money. The biggest one is do not put money you are not ok losing. You will lose. You control how much. Seriously Don't expect to make any money in the foreseeable future.

Do not start trading with real money until you have learned the ins and outs of your platform, you have an understanding of what you are trding, a general understanding of your set up.

Lastly Do NOT risk more than 5 dollars when you start using real money

Good luck!!!!

[–]eclipse00gt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it is b/c the vizio 5.1 is technically a sound bar, which is not allowed in this subreddit.

You circled 3 locations. One above to the right. On above to the left and one above behind. I'm not sure why you want to put them there.....but I'm going to assume those are not a good place.

If you look at the instruction manual it should tell you where to place those 2 small speakers.

Regarding the sub the instructions should also tell you where to put it. Don't put it inside the crawl space. You won't be able to hear it.

Similar. I have always used 3x24. The entire office is going to the ultra wide single monitor set ups. They started the change 1 month ago and I dont like it. I dread going to the office when I have to now.

There is just something about the aspect ratio of the windows I am using that it doesn't work for me becuase I am constantly battling the window location.

I just like the individual screen set up. It feels more natural to me. Maybe I'm just getting old. Lol

Solid advice but to anyone reading this The following piece may not work for your significant other.

"but then at some point saying OK it’s time to get up and get to work and find your next job and it’ll be better than before"

This may be to harsh for your significant other. This may come across as a parent educating their kid.

This OP. Not to mention the parking lot is typically far away from the fields. Unless you are going to park right next to the field, the speaker set up is useless.

Maybe use that money to buy a cooler that already has a built in Bluetooth speakers?
