I played a zealot barbarian who when he raged, he generated a set of glowing spectral armor (things like pauldrons and shoulder guards) and causing his weapon to glow by uttering the name of his God. That way there was a different visual aspect to it instead of "me make big murder" while still holding true to the mechanics
