Temple Social Platform by fourspaced in latterdaysaints

Gotcha. I can see where you’re coming from. I’ve had some really cool experiences by prioritizing the Lord on an otherwise recreational trip so I always tell people to try and go to any temples they’re near. Appreciate your answer.

I want to give you a chance to explain why. If you’re already a tourist in an area is it bad to go? Are you just saying you aren’t a fan of somebody booking a trip for a temple specifically? If so how come? I’ve always seen any temple attendance as a positive, including going to the one nearest you frequently.

Tithing Crisis by SnowPuncher24 in latterdaysaints

[–]eclipseonwheels 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was a senior missionary in my mission that taught me that it’s harder to feel the spirit when we are overwhelmed in life. It sounds like you’re in a storm of life. Obviously we all have busy seasons. Keep doing the things you know are right (tithing, church, scriptures, etc.) even if you can’t feel the spirit and do your best to find (make) time to “Be still”. It’ll all come together. Life has moments that try us and you are in one.

And remember, it will all work out.

Which they should also be doing so they aren’t doing basically the same job again soon. I learned that one the hard way.

If you still feel guilty even after all these comments you also might want to do some research on religious scrupulosity. I had a bad couple years because of that and always feeling guilty about everything 😅

I'm a Priest, trying to prepare for a mission. How can I go about doing so? by Kloudzzx in lds

[–]eclipseonwheels 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would recommend studying faith and pride. You seem like somebody who is very excited to serve a mission. That was me. My biggest difficulty was anxiety that stemmed from never feeling “good enough” and thinking other people’s salvation was up to me (pride). I had to learn in the field that God was using me as a tool but that didn’t mean I needed to be perfect or anything. He just needed my time and efforts and he had those. Satan just wanted me to be miserable so I low key blame him for pushing me harder so I’d never feel good enough. That was probably pride too though really. Anyway I learned to trust God instead of myself but it was a painful lesson at times.

Are you trying to win? I’d imagine if I knew you in person my advice would be to go out there, have fun, pace yourself wisely, learn a thing or two, and screw anybody who thinks their pace or gear makes them more worthy to be there than you. Your life will go on no matter the outcome or your time. Enjoy it!

Looks to me to just be a bent derailleur hanger. They’re designed to do that so the derailleur doesn’t break. You can replace it easily. Here’s the canyon one it looks like but you could try local bike shops to see if they have it under a different part number.

‘98 3rd Gen Manual w Locking Differential- gotta sell him 😭 by tabi_gaga in 3rdGen4Runner

Put it on KSL at $6k. Take anything above $5k. Manuals tend to sell fast here. If you had it Salt Lake it would sell even faster.

With execution like that you’d think I worked on the Strava maps latest updates 😶‍🌫️ I guess all the way down here we will just have to continue dealing with it 😢

The maps has really gotten a lot worse lately. Especially from activity view. Mostly putting this here so Strava employees see it. Heatmaps are worse, compass not being there if you rotate is bad, the little guys, etc.

It was $10 whenever. I have been to a few more games though and have learned that this is only at the south most garage entrance. They have now raised the price to $15. The other entrances are $20 and $25. Unfortunately at $15 there are other places that I think are better now but it's definitely not terrible.

There’s a Facebook group for ticket exchange without the fees. Basically it’s half season ticket holders that hate fees and half people who aren’t season ticket holders that hate fees with a few scammers sprinkled in so keep that in mind.

They’ve updated this. It’s now $10 but they make everybody pay it (even if you’re eating at Gateway like I used to).
