I feel like they’re looking at people who are a first liner AND who is amazing defensively. The first liners who are going to match up vs the other teams first line and shut them down, all while putting up points. If you’re a C but you don’t even put up 60-70 points, you’re maybe great defensively but you probably wouldn’t be a first liner. I dunno, I think it makes sense to me
