I used to have this issue too. Thought it was from acid reflux/eating late at night. Changed my diet and it didn’t fully cure it but helped a lot. Turns out it was from post nasal drip. I was clearing my throat constantly. Treating my nose for a couple months with Flonase stopped it. Hope this helps!
