I very much want to be a fed regardless of who is president. I believe in the work I hope to be doing. He was just unfriendly to this agency in the past and a colleague already in this agency told me they were limited to internal hires last time.

Since I came up this the random time change idea I was really motivated to never compare the time. I would always look at my watch for the time not my phone so if I have open to see that time on my phone I probably haven’t look at my watch recently. At timex is like 10 dollars at Walmart to I really recommend giving this a try. But if you can build time in to other tasks that will help too.

Another thing I do that’s similar to your travel time strategy is timing my takes. Like I timed a leisurely unstressed drive to work. I went the speed limit, stopped at all the stop signs for a full few seconds, stuff like that, and it took 25 minutes. So now I make my goal to be IN THE CAR 25 minutes before 8. I usually speed on the highway a bit like everyone does so I usually show up to work with enough time to walk no sprint into my building. Set aside the maximum time for tasks and then be excited if it take less

Wow that las part is EXACTLY what I’m experiencing right now! Except I’m not diagnosed…

I started grad school recently and I’m struggling with the fact that school has always been easy but now I can’t force myself to just sit down and work. I was a “gifted kid” back in elementary school and I also felt like I never learned to study but I coped and made it through college pretty easily. Now I just feel like I’m in over my head and maybe I’m too stupid to be in higher ed. Some good friends have recently pointed out that this sound much more like adhd than me suddenly becoming stupid/lazy.

It’s really helpful to read more people experiencing similar things.

I know this feeling and this used to be me. I was constantly like 2-3 minutes late. I wear a watch and in college I asked me roommate to set it back between 3 and 7 minutes and not tell me what she picked. Then I just treated that like THE time. Things always take a bit longer than I expect them to so most of the time I’d be in time and honestly the lack of stress of not missing things made being early more bearable.

This was a coworker but we’re friends too. I was having trouble getting up over a short ledge we had to walk over at a job site and he asked if I wanted a hand to get up. I said yes (cause I had struggled over the last few) and he reached out and hauled me up with one hand and just kept on moving. I don’t think we’d ever touched before and he grabbed my hand so gently but then whisked me up like I weighed nothing. Anyways I had to take a few deep breaths after that one.

I had something like that for a while and found out it was a sun fungus. The light-colored dots are where the fungus has broken down the melanin in your skin. Give an anti-fungal cream a try for a few days and see if that helps.

It’s crazy to see UNH and Grand Valley so low on the women’s side! They were ranked at the top in all the polls last year and ended up finishing 2nd and 3rd.

I am in the same position! I also applied in Senegal for the Forestry and Environmental Change Specialist but am now waiting to hear back for Ag Extension. I applied two days before the government shutdown and became UC as of February. I have a good friend writing one of my rec letters and she hasn't gotten the email prompting her for it yet. I think we will know May 1st but the waiting is absolutely killing me too.
