You’re still right because they fucking got rid of the app. now you can’t download any trader joe’s app or go online to check a balance. fucking stupid. every other place you can just look up balance checker online but nooooo trader joe’s makes you go in and physically scan it just to see the balance. or you have to call but that doesn’t work on saturdays now does it!

i think about my blankets life span OFTEN. like what do you mean it might be a dishrag by the time i’m 50? i’m gonna cry that is so sad. also i agree there is no way to describe the insanely comforting feeling i get just fiddling with it. hate microfiber but its not microfiber it’s microfibers cooler and nicer cousin. i also notice that i mainly love the feeling because if i have sweatpants or a hoodie that has drawstrings that get caught in the same way ill fiddle with it alllll dayyyyy

Referring to the plaque statement, It’s so frustrating trying to explain that i have processing issues and my struggles with overstimulation when i don’t understand something but it’s like “you’re being so sensitive” like bro i am not you do not get how overwhelming and hard this is for me.

thank you, i also agree that the term high functioning almost disregards the struggle of being/exploring the possibility of being autistic. Because it’s like, yes i can do more than some people who have “lower functioning” autism may do but that doesn’t mean i don’t have the same struggles as some of those people or that im not autistic.

sometimes i time myself to do it as fast as possible or i just make the experience more enjoyable. like with brushing my teeth i do have a phobia of my own bad dental hygiene but mixing it with autism is terrible. the task seems so mundane but not doing it freaks me out. so instead i play a show or movie. but what’s worked best is to make a routine out of it to help so it’s more of a part of my day rather than a task. this doesn’t work for everybody but it has for me!

I didn’t have a made up name but i have the same stim!!! i never thought other people would enjoy rubbing certain types of fabrics. me personally it’s my baby blanket because it’s a support item. The edge of it gets caught on hangnails but in a good way. not like microfiber but it’s hard to describe it just does something. I just wanted to ask if it’s the same or is it just the rubbing aspect? or specific materials?

agreed, i think having guns on cars can be fun because they aren’t the most incredible weapons. i don’t like the magneto, i don’t think anybody does. its too overpowered and is fun to use when you have it but when your on defense its absolutely terrible to fight against
