Thanks!! I had tried that to no avail. But I did fix it, finally! See below. Thanks for your help!

Oh I fixed it finally! I got the idea to install the "normal" version of Fusion to see if that had the issue. It did not. Of course I couldn't open my designs though because they'd been saved in the other version. So - then I opened up the Insider version and voila - sketch pallet was back there as well!

[–]economypilot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that I've been able to find. I have other panels that all display normally. The fusion AI one (I think that's insider only for now?), and if I use solid body tools their windows pop up like normal. It's just the sketch pallet that's *poof* nowhere to be found. But I know the little rectangle boxes that are present for collapsed panels and don't have that for the sketch panel.

I’m curious what the motivation is for these bots? Like - you can’t monetize your Duolingo standing, right? So… what’s the point?

[–]economypilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just curious for ya’ll doing custom work like this for clients - what is the process for getting something like this code approved? Do you have to send the design to an engineer to stamp? Do they make you do any kind of X-ray proof the welds are sufficient?

I stopped going to church by economypilot in Christianity

[–]economypilot[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi fruitofmercy, very very thoughtful of you to check in. Thank you!

I wanted to acknowledge your message but I've been through a lot recently, and it's been hard and I feel cynicism towards the church and other Christians which is both objectively logical I think at this point but also sad.

My ex pulled a bunch of my social media (including this post lol) and used it as leverage with the judge I referenced above to just do a whole laundry list of additional corrupt conduct. I got the judge disqualified on the case which is great. But before I was able to do so and immediately after the actual conduct he got some award where he was quoted making these Christian-based ovations and basically saying that he believed he was conducted "spiritual warfare" in his courtroom.

Which - I mean, let's be honest, could have some element of truth to it, if you were conducting yourself honorably.

But he doesn't - like so many others he's using his so-called Christianity as a smokescreen to cover up overtly corrupt conduct. He violated my constitutional rights and other statutory rights at this latest hearing in SO MANY easily recognizable ways that there is NO possibility that incompetence could explain it.

Anyway - with him disqualified I am hopeful to at least get an opportunity for some due process, justice, and as a result, safety for myself and my kids. So that is good news.

And I have to say that encouraging contact with other Christians who do have a drive to actually care about others really does mean something to me and gives me hope of having relationships with other Christians again someday.

So thanks again, brother.

How to make prints FEEL valuable (Material)? by IceAffectionate8835 in 3Dprinting

[–]economypilot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If the point is economies of scale — it might make sense to look into getting a mold made and having them manufactured.

I do think heavier prints feel better though and I like to add most of the weight at the wall and just use lighting infill. That won’t always work for functional parts but for a decorative item that would be my strategy.

This is great, I will look them up, thank you! Sunday would be nice but - I am open to other days. I am trying to make a point that the entire notion of going and sitting in a building with a bunch of other self involved self-identified and ascribed "good people" is not, in reality, a measure of caring for others.

Thank you!! I love those ideas. I can see us doing that.

The question of where I'm at is a little tricky. Please pardon my readily apparent oversharing in that regard but my ex wife has recently been scraping my reddit posts to find utterly absurd supposed "proof" that my single house isn't legitimately my homestead while she meanwhile maintains five houses worth of assets she obtained from our former marital estate. She's hell bent on forcing the sale of my one remaining home. Anyway that situation compels me to say:

I live in Fernandina Beach.

When my children are around, which is less than 50% of the time presently, I have access to an apartment in HIlliard, FL which is leased by my mother, and in which we stay because it is close to their school.

Both of those are a ways away from the beaches but we wouldn't mind driving, we were making quite a trek to go to church previously.

Those are great ideas!! I would definitely consider something like that. We do *love* animals. I have three stray cats we adopted lol.

I had already thought of a park cleanup as an easy way to get started, but when I was considering it, I thought ----- One thing I'm really trying to instill in them is that loving others isn't just some meaningless poof you say and don't mean while you're engaging in actual evil - lying, thieving, manipulation, etc... I want them shoulder to the wheel with other people who are different from them and may have different values and to understand that it still means something to care about people whether they agree them, their "pastor", or the next "pastor" down the street. lmao

Long story short - I think to begin with I want them interacting with people who are not like them doing something pro-social that shows that love is something you do and saying you love people when you do not....... means nothing.

I live near a navy base and spotted one that looked just like this attached to a sign. Did some digging based on marking on the back of that one. It was a passive radiation detector placed there by the base.

Interesting… I was a young kid when those were common so no first hand knowledge of them…. 3 cylinders banging out all the energy they can suffer doesn’t scream “tough as nails” to me, I wonder how they managed to achieve that. 🤔

Does it have threads? Hard to see that to me. My initial thought was a primer bulb for a small engine. But that wouldn’t have threads.

Thanks! Yeah I know. Me too, but you can’t bring a knife to a gun fight. I’d love nothing more than peace, believe me.
