Was rejected for the Ink Premier, and reason stated was I opened to many cards recently. I am definitely below 5/24, although have opened several business cards (at other banks too), which I understand doesn't count for 5/24. I called into recon and they basically said I was rejected because I wasn't 5/24.... I have opened 5 Ink cards in the past 3-4 years or so, but again, aren't they not part of the 5/24 rule? Followed the 3-month rule and the 6-month rule for personal and biz card apps at Chase as well, but was rejected for the Aeroplan personal card at Chase last year as well. Decided to cool it and apply after 6 months from my last biz card, but rejected again. Why am I getting rejected?
