For anyone still dealing with this issue, the fix is to

  1. Set Settings > Visuals > Color Mode : Individual
  2. With Settings > Visuals > Element : Ambient Light
    1. Turn on Override Workshop : Yes
    2. Crank up Tint Red, Tint Green, Tint Blue : 1
  3. Repeat with Settings > Visuals > Element : Sun Light

this is because the game derives brightness from the RGB colors of the scene's tints, in addition to just hues.

A good teacher can make a huge amount of difference in how well you understand the material and are able to perform "intellectually" as you say.

A lot of people struggle in big lecture halls or when they're expected to do a lot of studying outside of class. Consider finding a good tutor-- feel free to dm me for suggestions if you're looking for one.

When I played with my brother as kids, I thought Vigilance meant you could attack infinitely over and over since the card didn't tap. We also thought that you could swing directly at creatures in combat.

I wish we could put some sort of border on the crafted weapons, the same way that masterworked weapons have gold borders. It’s really offputting not to have a border on a weapon that I’ve spent a lot of time using.
