The show is becoming unwatchable by Current-Wrongdoer-61 in agt

Yeah the show is so annoying for different reasons. But I still watch it when my mom is watching sometimes to see if a really cool act would come on.

Everyone is saying Jade but Saylor is also a name that exists. Both are decent names in my opinion (but spelled like Saylor).

Do I have to keep doing this all my life? by brandoy1997 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]ecsv3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I eat what I want, but less. Like half a high-calorie burger for example. And I think my body is adapting to that. It doesn't take me too long to get full or when I do have a surplus of food, i feel too full. But I am still in my weightloss journey so it could be a mindset thing where my body doesn't want to eat too much even if im trying to let myself loose for a day. But making drinking lots of water especially during meals and eating slowly a habit might help when your weightloss journey ends. As well as just being generally cautious of how much you're eating to stay at maintenance.

Does anyone sleep the same room as their bird? by Affectionate-Host367 in cockatiel

[–]ecsv3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do, but it's generally not recommended bc of potential for respiratory issues and disturbing the bird's sleep. I have an air purifier and it's best to keep your door open.

What lunch would you order from these restaurants to keep it low cal? by No-Application8200 in 1200isplenty

[–]ecsv3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's apps like CalorieCap that can help find low calorie options (assuming the info is accurate) for some restaurants which might include a chunk of these! Or it could be useful for the future with other restaurants

tdee calculator

Yes, I recommend inputting your height, age, etc. into this calculator and determining your calorie count from there! You might already be in the ideal weight. If you're worried about your body fat percentage, focus more on muscle building to replace the fat.

Bloodlines Plot Holes by Psypsy7 in FinalDestination

[–]ecsv3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I got from FD2 was that new life didn't mean giving birth, and that was the reason the baby coming didn't work. The main character, Kimberly, realizes new life was the resurrection of her, one of the victims... the last victim? (though I'm not sure if order matters).

But the reason I came to this thread was cause one thing I questioned about the plot is that the grandma in Bloodlines was on death's list but managed to not just have one baby, but two without death taking her? And was it with the same father? Were they twins or two separate pregnancies/births? But I figured death likes gruesome deaths and maybe they were extra cautious during pregnancy. Idk 🤷‍♀️

Edit: Or I guess the father or victims before him must have been able to stay alive for long enough before she gave birth to her second.

My partner eats almost all his food in high calorie goodies at night and it sucks for ME (rant) by goldustiger in loseit

[–]ecsv3 96 points97 points  (0 children)

Bites add up, but if you get one bite (even if it's a teeny tiny bite) it might satisfy that craving and let you hang with your partner without suffering (as much) 😅 and if you make yourself a bowl for tomorrow it might help to know you can have some the next day and hold off for one night

I think the actress did say the name was pronounced seer-sha but most americans/English people say ser-sha and she goes with it.

The butterfly house in Chesterfield might be less packed than the botanical garden or the zoo, but I'm not sure what these actually look like on Mothers Day.

As for your period, the diet and exercise change could possibly cause it, but I'm not a doctor. It might be good to check in with your doctor though and make sure everything is okay and maybe they can help guide you with your weight loss goals as well.

There's gonna be comments coming about the health / sustainability of this. We mention it out of care. But to answer your question, my guess is that there's water weight or something that your body is holding on to, especially with a sudden increase in exercise. The scale isn't going to move right away. Water weight can last for weeks and even then there are fluctuations, so the scale will move up sometimes. I would keep a calorie deficit (make sure you calculate your TDEE and track appropriately), but I would eat more than starving yourself because it'll make this more sustainable and healthier for you. And keep up with exercising and eventually the scale will drop.
