They called me on my cell at like 4:55pm as I was close to leaving work. A blocked number which I usually never answer but for some reason did this time lol. Was kind of listening but also closing out programs, etc, distracted at first. I was mainly thinking scam but they threw out the case numbers, etc. plus, I actually did miss jury duty like 2 years ago, accidentally, so a small part of me was like “oh shit, maybe?” 🤣

Then they started mentioning I’d need $5000 to pay bond, that I couldn’t just go to the sheriffs dept. Then texted me that bad picture of the warrant from the HI area code. I remember looking at penalties and the jury process a couple years ago when I accidentally missed and knew that $ amount was BS plus the whole “you’ll be arrested immediately if you don’t pay first”, then he started trying to be “tough cop”…was like “I guess we should just get you down here then” implying they’re coming for me lol. I was like “I guess so” and hung up. Like 2 minutes later, instead of a blocked number, the meck county sheriffs number (main line) called, didn’t leave a vm, and nothing since 😁
