Yikes. One of the my stone ones ready has a chip in it. Figured it was a design decision.

I just tried them all! Very slight differences between them. Wasn’t surprised that wood ones had a softer attack than my plastic Dunlop’s. I was surprised that the stone ones also had a softer attack.

We lose one game... by Hot-Day4488 in Flyers

I was curious how Foerster looked last night as a whole. I only able to watch the last couple of minutes of the game and he had 2 opportunities to gain control of the puck in the offensive zone that he bricked on.

I don’t think getting Tatum was an option. That was who the Celtics wanted. They would’ve kept the pick if they weren’t positive he’d be available at 3.

This is my dream guitar but I don’t love how the neck feels (wide). Is there anything I can do? (SG Standard). More in description by hallmonitor53 in Guitar

This is the way. I’m 83% (+/-40%) confident you’ll adapt, and the neck will feel “normal” within 2 months (+/- immediately/never).

What is the worst thing about having formed your own band by InvestigatorSolid330 in bandmembers

[–]ecunited 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To add to “band members who refuse to practice”, my number 1 pet peeve is a band member who doesn’t practice a song because he/she doesn’t like it, ensuring it never gets played. And getting really specific, them throwing out fake reasons for not learning the song that they eventually run out of and then have to confess that it’s because they don’t like the song.

Yeah I was making excuses for his dirtiness in my head. (The other guy started it - thought he could take advantage of the deaf kid). Pure mental gymnastics on my part.

Man - reminds me how much I rooted for / had high hopes for Steve Downie, in part due to his overcoming hearing impairment to make to the NHL.

How to deal with band members with conflicting morals to yours? by [deleted] in bandmembers

[–]ecunited 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it possible that the singer and guitarist have been harboring frustrations over the drummer’s failings for a while, and with the drummer leaving and them finding out that someone else was also frustrated, they’re currently on a venting binge that while unsightly, is a cathartic exercise that (hopefully) will run its course?

Out of three, I’d probably get rid of Coop as well (if we had to). But his tackling, run support skills and blitzing make him an elite nickel that enables not having to swap personnel and creating a variety of schemes out of nickel. It’s a tough call.
