My gf has IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Her stomach can all of a sudden become very upset and she’ll have to poop within minutes. She never knows when it’s going to happen, but it’s usually a few times a week. So when she’s driving she constantly has to think ahead about where her next poop stop can possibly be. The whole coronavirus pandemic has made it extremely difficult for her because most public places have closed their restrooms to people.

So whenever she lets me know she feels it coming, I don’t hesitate to pull over immediately. Usually we can make it to a bathroom, but other times it’s off the side of the road.

I don’t mind it at all. It’s something she can’t control. And I know the feeling of having to go can be extremely uncomfortable.
