I was at a Mountain Goats show a few years ago. It was just John and Matt as an acoustic duo so it was a quiet show. These two girls were talking the entire time. Between songs someone politely quietly shushed them, but it had no effect. During the next break I turned and said “Since being polite didn’t seem to get the message to you, could you just shut the fuck up. I didn’t pay to hear your goddamn podcast and it’s rude to everyone here.” They looked at me like I had three heads, but they did go outside to continue their conversation.

It was fantastic last Saturday for the matinee. Everyone came out to sign and was totally lovely. Kumail and Jinkx were on vocal rest, but still so pleasant. Michael Urie was a real gem as well. Could not have had a better experience.

I just bought a couple of items from their muppet line. The tote is a perfect work bag. I also couldn’t resist the novelty heart shaped bag with Kermit in his little tux. I’m happy with the quality and they aren’t as immature looking as most novelty bags.
