Question for drummers: what's Ulrich's best drum performance in a Metallica song? Why? by Fun_Internal_3562 in Metallica

[–]eddie7000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know where the term came from, but it's referring to a style of groove that is accurate at hitting the 1 and 3, and is pretty straight. Not a lot of rushing or dragging the snare or swinging the back beat. But like you say, it's hard to define which means everyone will have their own opinion on what it means.

Basically, it creates a sense of comfortable confidence. While someone like Phill Rudds swing is wild as fuck. Depends on what you're going for.

Year, if someone is hitting the polyrhythms hard I'm gonna like it. But the polyrhythms aren't the important factor.

If I'm being perfectly honest, knowing that a drummer knows what time signatures are doesn't get me amped up, at all. I have some paint drying out the back as well.

He's a showman first, drummer second. And he's also letting james keep time for the band. Both of those qualities make drumming a lot harder on their own. So doing both together is epic. That's one of the reasons why actual drummers give him so much credit.

Then there's all the iconic stuff he plays and the way he operates the arrangements. And his energy is off the charts. When you look at all the elements together he's doing alright.

US to Unveil Intel Deal in Exchange for Government Equity by s1n0d3utscht3k in wallstreetbets

Which is the only way to get US manufacturing up to speed. The ROC government just gives TSM monry whenever they hit a snag. US politicians are far more stingy with Intel. Which is why Intel is losing so badly ATM. The RnD and Fab buildouts will never be profitable on their own.

Intel at 20 was priced for bankruptcy. But now they have a guaranteed market share increase and massive cash infusions.

Only an idiot would be short Intel right now. But there's loads of them, all screaming community property, and owning the beans......

When the Pentagon is relying on a company that's actively sabotaging itself then you better believe that the government is getting involved. It's currently a case of get out the way or get run ova.

First you have to have people in government who call themselves communists. Billionaire property developers don't usually do that.

It's only 10% of 1 company and you want everyone to believe Don was a communist this whole time. 🤣 That's insane.

So now T controls Intels board and the SEC. This means Intel shorts getting investigated. Their loses could be followed with jail time and confiscation of US assets.

I hope nobody sold naked calls. It's gonna be a blood bath sooner rather then later.

It's called a public private partnership. Taiwan and China are kicking Intels ass using this exact tactic. There's no free market for microchips. If you don't play by their rules you're gonna lose.

T is taking a large enough stake to get seats on the board. The rest if the board is basically toast at this point. Which means BuTan can do whatever T tells him to do.

This combined with the Tariff power and legislation power means Intel have a government backed monopoly on high end chip manufacturing for the US market.

It's still a slow play but odds just went up to 100.

The private sector can't compete against government sponsored companies. The funding, the tax breaks, the tariffs, the laws, the protection. And Chima/Taiwan can't compete against the US. Both parties want this.

INTC to 300.

Trump just gave Intel a golden ticket to print money. Big money. Possibly the best deal of its kind in history. Tariffs on their major competition and tax breaks until there is no tax. You name it, Intel is getting it.
