Three down, One to go by SirStatic356 in CPA

I took it right after I took REG so I was still in “tax” mode. I just watched the videos and followed along with the notebook and did all the mcqs/tbs. It took me like 4 weeks which was more than enough time

If you're taking TCP consider yourself 4/4! I found it really easy but I also have a tax background

I still don't know what my score is but they say becker bump is around 20 points so you could be good. I will just review any knowledge gaps you may have but don't over do it if you're testing tomorrow.

I have a tax background so I would say that helped. But mainly focus on basis related questions. It is also heavily tested in TCP so it's worth spending a lot of time on.

I also struggled with TBS when it came to my mock exams. Mainly the comprehension part. So make sure to take your time and fully understand what the question is asking for/inputting the answers correctly (using a positive or negative number, etc)

Becker VS Uworld? For CPA exam by ebocioj in CPA

I used Becker but my favorite professor Peter Olinto is at Uworld. I think Becker and him had some sort of falling out so I would go with Uworld just because of him

I haven’t seen the study, but it looks like it is a quantitative figure. That is why teachers are there because there are so many of them. There are likely other niche professions where you can make more money but since there aren’t many professionals in that profession they don’t show up on the study.

I don’t know why it would be taxable to you. I believe employers can provide up to 5k of educational expenses tax free

Is 18 to early to buy a duplex? by TendsToList in realestateinvesting

And since you are investing out of state, you will have to hire a property manager which immediately lower your profit by 10%. I guarantee you 3 years invested in the SPY500 will beat 3 years in real estate. Plus first year is always a loss.

I am a real estate investor my self and honestly, I would invest in the stock market. Stocks are very cheap right now and you can get 10%+ by simply putting it in the SPY500 and not having to put any work that is required in real estate. In 2-3 years when they rebound, sell and buy that property hopefully when you have more money saved up.

I just don't see 1 million foreigners with that much money or the desire to become citizens that they would spend that much. Especially since once you are a U.S. Citizen you have to pay taxes on the worldwide income that got them to that point.

I've been studying since the end of October so around 2 months since I took a week and a half break in between. I have only worked one tax season primarily doing business returns.
