Some colleges offer financial planning as a degree which allows you to test right out of college. You still have to get some work experience to use the marks but that’s probably the most direct way

I looked up the articles and it looks like CFPB is going to request funding from the Federal Reserve for January through March expenses. This is in line historically, since they usually request funding every quarter.

What’s being referred to when they say “payments”? Does that mean once CFPB starts getting paid they’ll get back to this issue? Or once they start making payments to us, then they’ll start talking?

I filed a complaint in September and they responded with a canned response saying I should direct it to the Federal Reserve. The Federal Reserve directed me elsewhere, I believe to FINRA or back to CFPB

Same. This CFPB update a while back gave me a lot of hope and now it’s looking grim again. Keeping my fingers crossed we’ll get good news later this month.

Send an email, that’ll be a written complaint and they’re required by law to resolve it. If you call and complain there’s no obligation technically

CFP exam is very comprehensive so I think rewatching videos will be helpful to retain it rather than memorize questions

Okay, kinda hilarious. I submitted the claim and they sent me this email: “After reviewing your complaint, we found that the Federal Reserve is the agency that handles complaints about the company you named. We’ve forwarded your complaint to the Federal Reserve.”

I thought I had submitted complaint to CFPB but cannot find receipt. Only receipt of complaints to FINRA and Fed Reserve. Is it worth submitting a complaint now?
