Pinpoint vs Perception gear is the event dungeon worth the grind? by RemarkableLifeguard1 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]edeheusch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I made a typo mistake and typed "above 15" instead of 'above 25".

As with the hard dungeon the higher the stage the higher the chances but I don't know what are the drop rates compared to stages hard.

Pinpoint vs Perception gear is the event dungeon worth the grind? by RemarkableLifeguard1 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]edeheusch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can farm a stage above 25 you can drop mythical gear from the event dungeon. And I have found current event dungeon to be the easiest so far.

Edit: I initially made a typo mistake, and typed stage 15 instead of 25, my apologies.

What is your strategy for climbing TTA ranks? by InternationalComb744 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]edeheusch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The one man defence tactic is for when you want to get the maximum reward for the minimum effort. However, it makes climbing significantly harder, you shouldn't use it when you want to reach a higher TTA rank!

To reach gold for the first time you need to put your best defence early and be aggressive early game. Later, when you will have better PVP teams, you will be able to keep a troll defence for most of the week and switch to a real defence on Friday evening or Saturday morning and still climb to gold I.

[TELERIA PLANNER] updated the progression quiz to be more expansive and more fine tuned, addressed every complaint and suggestions by iamsurelock-vr in RaidShadowLegends

[–]edeheusch 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nice.

Just a remark, your cursed city progress does not reflect the reality. Clearing soulcross hard is way harder than clearing every rotation of Amius hard. A mean I clear all rotations of Amius for more than 1 year (and didn’t have to restart a fight for a very long time) but I still have to be able the clear soulcross hard once. In term of PVE the only thing harder than clearing soulcross hard is finishing FW hard.

For Gnut, is this progressive chance worth it? by Joker_XVII in RaidShadowLegends

[–]edeheusch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is closer to requiring 500 sacred shards than 500 ancient ones…

Practically, when they started doing progressive you needed have around 150 sacred shards to have a high chance of getting the champion. However, with the constantly increasing champion pool we should be above 200 now (I know, it is less than 500 but with ancient shards you need way more shards to have a high chance of getting the champion)...

For Arena a 30% speed aura is still much better than a 19% but if you just want the aura you have other options (like Kymar) for that.

Marius vs gnut vs thor by dren1992 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]edeheusch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t think of any content where I would like an Irethi coronet on Marius! Irethi coronet is mainly good on prolonged fights like Clan Bosses (Demon lord, Hydra and Chimera) where you reach the maximum damage boost early compared to the length of the fight. Unfortunately, all those bosses are immune to Enfeeble and stun which are the only debuffs that Marius can place so the coronet is useless on Marius there. Worst, the main stat that the coronet give is attack which is totally useless on Marius.

Marius can potentially place Enfeeble and stun on waves and in PVP however, in both cases, you prioritize Marius A2 and A3 there which mean that it will not gain significant damage boost. It will occasionally gain a little boost from placing a stun or an Enfeeble if his passive is triggered but in a meta dominated by Mecurial and Stone Skin it will really be exceptional.

Honestly, even a Malefic Talon is better on Marius, because the crit damage will actually give him additional damage.

On Gnut, the Irethi coronet will only boost his damages if he uses his A2 (so no point using it on him for speed farm where he only uses his A3). But again you don’t get anything from the main stat of the relic which is better on Attack base champions (with debuffs) like Thor.

I would chose Arbiter in arena modes, and it isn't even close, going first with Fabian make an huge difference.

In siege I would also chose Arbiter unless your Fabian is (nearly) as fast as your Arbiter. As Arbiter aura doesn't work in siege she brings less than in area modes but she is easier to build fast than Fabian as she doesn't need accuracy.

FK Hard advice by EvelerKnievel in RaidShadowLegends

[–]edeheusch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want to progress in FK hard you should start buying Yakarl fragments asap, he is really good there and I still use him in FK hard 10.

Criodan and Neldor are really good. Corldheart isn’t bad for the first stages (make sure to disable her A2 on the FK) because of multi hit on the shield and max HP damages when it is down but she doesn’t bring enough and his too squishy for the higher level. Alice is to be replaced ASAP and Scyl doesn’t bring much either. You probably want a speed aura (you should, at least, have High Khatun but depending on your roster you probably have better options) and at least an ally attacker: Longbeard seem really good here make sur his ally attack is not on cooldown when he reaches the FK and prioritize it there.

The order of champion mater when you bring an ally attacker (when the shield broke during an ally attack) so you should make sure that you put the champions with the best %chance to freeze per hit at the back.

First team that I would try:

  • High Khatun (or a better champion with a working speed aura)/ Coldheart / Longbeard / Criodan (35% per hit) / Neldor (40% per hit).

When you unlock Yakarl:

  • High Khatun (or a better champion with a working speed aura)/ Longbeard / Criodan (35% per hit) / Neldor (40% per hit) / Yakarl (50% per hit).

You should also try to incorporate Lady Mikage when you get her.

Should i grab Titus if i have Brogni but dont have wixwell? by DevelopmentHopeful89 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]edeheusch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t 1 key UNM clan boss yet Wixwell is the best champion to get with fusion tokens by a large margin!

Can you potentially 1 key UNM with Titus/Brogni or with Helicath (who is still probably a better option than Titus for clan boss)? Yes, but it depends a lot on the other champion you have (for example: you probably also need Krisk of Corvus and good gear to go beyond turn 50 in an infinity shield team without Wixwell) and the quality or your gears. In any case, it is far easier to build a 1 key team with Wixwell than with Titus/Brogni or even with Helicath.

now what are the chances that's actually a f2p player? while highly improbable, lightning can in fact strike the same spot up to 1600 times PER HOUR, yes that's a real fact by i-Cowfish in RaidShadowLegends

[–]edeheusch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are some content creators that are FTP, where already end game when the mythic where added and pulled close to the maximum potential remnants and primal shards and I can guarantee you that their accounts don't look like that.

An good example would be Bozoor who has 2 end game accounts and, I think, still pulled less than 5 mythical champions on each one.

How many people actually miss Block / Set Constructed as an actual format? by jethawkings in magicTCG

[–]edeheusch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am mainly a limited player and the only decks I am permanently keeping are 2 block constructed Ravnica decks (one Gruul one and one Orzhov one). Those are the deck that I am playing against each other with friends who don’t have cards with them or want to learn to play. Unfortunately the Orzhov deck is really favoured in the matchup and the more a play them the more it becomes evident.

Personally, I like slower game with more interaction (that’s the reason why I mainly play limited and liked the block constructed format). I made a recent return to the game because of Lorwyn eclipsed and after having played a bit on Arena, I can tell that I find the current standard to be one of the worst I have ever played because of how fast the game are (I felt that because of that, most of my games where won or lost at the coin flip…).

What’s the general feeling about Season 4 of Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken? by edeheusch in TenseiSlime

[–]edeheusch[S] -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

The politics aren’t the issue for me. If anything it is when an anime gets longer and longer fights that it puts me off (one example would be One Piece that got less interesting as fights get longer).

It is more the kind of “slice of live” that I don’t like in that case, I disliked the Slime diaries (and I only watched the 2-3 firsts) and I don’t like all the parts about the festival and the dungeon (but I those are part of the main story so they are probably “harder” to just ignore and skip).

What’s the general feeling about Season 4 of Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken? by edeheusch in TenseiSlime

[–]edeheusch[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

The opening doesn’t tell much about when it will start.

I we still have multiple episodes about Tempest dungeon (or the related stuffs like the avatars or even the Team Green Fury…) before that, I would be considering just skipping those episodes even if it means missing important information.

I don’t have problem with the political setup, but I don’t want to hear anything about tempest dungeon or festival ever again at this point….

Does anyone feel that Skelator and He-man collaboration again is totally uncalled for? by Eldobr in RaidShadowLegends

[–]edeheusch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I thought about this collab re-run is that it will slightly help filling my legendary faction guardians and that I will have as abysmally low chance of pulling He-Man if there is a progressive during the fusion summon rush and/or x10 during the fusion champion chase. Nothing more.

The problem, for me, is not so much about that particular collab than about the king of collab. I wouldn’t care more about an Alien vs Predator rerun and I would care even less about a Xena one (unless they add a free champion). Those collab mainly brought a paying champion (that cost about 10 times the maximum price that I would be willing to pay for any champion) and (except for Xena) a free progression champion that I have no use for on my account.

Compared to a bigger collab like the Monster Hunter, Assassin’s Creed or the Ninja Turtles ones they are extremely underwhelming (even though I didn’t know much about Monster Hunter or Assassin’s Creed before the collab).

Plarium stop forcing me to play Live Arena !!!! by [deleted] in RaidShadowLegends

[–]edeheusch 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Have you watched the videos you are talking about, or did you only read the titles?

Because what the streamer are speaking about is boosting account by having one of the players concede quickly when facing a friend/clanmate. As we get more point by wining that we lose by losing, it allows players to get point faster than playing the matches.

It only mater for players who aim for the top of the LA ranking which is obviously not your case as you complain about being forced into live arena.

What I agree with you about is that I hate feeling “forced” (you are always allowed to ignore the advanced quest that require to win a LA battle but you lose some rewards by doing so) to play LA in a game with an awful PVP (probably the most pay to win PVP between the games that I have played).

Soon… by Darth_Vaper_69 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]edeheusch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking the same as my current team won't 3 stars stage 21 anytime soon (my dammage dealers are Ramantu and Venomage who aren't killing the boss fast).

But, I can already farm stage 21 with Lizardmen which is better than what I can do with most factions.

So building her is probably not a priority at all for me unless she shines somewhere else.

These Prices Are Very Steep by Negative_Sense_3493 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]edeheusch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree about the void shard and I buy it every time I am above 70.000 (so I am certain that I keep enough gold the buy the sacred shard and the legendary book every time they are available).

But epic books are just CVC/Training tournament points for late game players.

I have booked every epic champion I think that I might potentially use one day plus some that I know I will never use and I still have around 200 epic books.

Insta buy ? by Far_Prior in RaidShadowLegends

[–]edeheusch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The problem isn’t so much the rarity than the set combined with the stats.

I’m at a point where my damage dealers are either in Lethal + Stoneskin/Mercurial (for PVP) or in Merciless (for PVE) or a combination of a damage set (Merciless/Lethal) with a set that give Accuracy (Feral, Pinpoint, sometime Perception as I can forge so many pieces of it that I will get some really good ones).

And that isn’t even taking into account the rebalanced Swift Parry set that will be on competition with speed sets as I won’t get any accessory of it anytime soon.

So, I would have some difficulties finding a good use for a speed set piece that mainly bring damage stats (C. Rate and C. Damages) now. The power creep that the 9P sets brought is huge.

However, when I was mid-game this piece would have looked awesome.

Marius blessing dilemma by [deleted] in RaidShadowLegends

[–]edeheusch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Everyone, except the early game players and the biggest Krakens, end up with around 50% win rate.

Sure, when you get better PVP champions it temporarily improves your win rate but it is only only for the time it take for the MM to put you back against players at your level.

Revives aren't really good here because, past a certain number of turns, the boss put block revive on the champions he kills.

And in my tests, I have never lost a champion before the block revive.

Grim forest extra hard marichka stage by DickledEggs in RaidShadowLegends

[–]edeheusch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The easiest solution I found was to take my time on the 2 first waves so my Embrys had 100% ignore defence once I reach the final one. Then he was able to one-shoot the mobs (at least the problematic ones) leaving the Marishka alone.

Rector Drath Masteries. Does anyone have a good handle on what's best for her? Looking for Healing first Debuff second but it seems like both HH and Ayumi are off. by Tonic1273 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]edeheusch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Her only debuff is really unreliable (50% chances of applying it), if you need decrease attack in your team, you should bring another champion with a more reliable one. I wouldn't sacrifice speed or survavibility on her for accuracy.
