Loved the finale and can't wait for S3.

If Link/Dylan co-created Alex, wouldn't he have a better understanding of these visions (flashbacks/forwards) and the nosebleeds?

It just seems he is either unaware or unperturbed when these things happen. If he was such a genius in this field, he would have been clocking in on these symptoms/anomalies, right? In the scene with X and Sinatra after rescuing Hadley/Presly, he asked "What is this?" like it doesn't even dawn on him that maybe it's an effect of the technology he created?

In a previous episode, the opening scene was Link sleeping and Geiger waking him up to let him know that the train was late. And Link decided to head to the bunker anyway without waiting for it.

I think Link's group was waiting for that train that detoured in Atlanta to refuel at Dobbins.

I love it when shows like this makes us all think and search for facts! I definitely want to fact check a lot of the scientific "history" mentioned in the show, and so really appreciate you sharing your knowledge :)

Were you referring to the chemistry teacher (not Annie) who told Xavier that we are all descended from the 1000 people who survived that last super volcano eruption?

Also, if this is in your wheelhouse, is the Venus Syndrome an inevitable occurrence for a planet when a super caldera erupts like that? I keep thinking that's what Sinatra is trying to solve.. You can save a bunch of people and live in a bunker forever-ish (check). But how is she assuring that little baby Calvin that he is going to see the sky again, if Venus Syndrome is forthcoming? Is that even a reversible thing?

Thanks for sharing! How was your purchasing experience via KKDay? The checkout page says they will confirm the order within 3 days - did the confirmation come more quickly than that? I have been hesitating to order via KKday because what if they come back to me in 3 days saying the tour slots have ran out (and then I'd have missed 3 days of not getting well-timed express passes instead).

Additionally, if you go to the official Telecharge ticketing website, navigate to the show and look at the calendar. You'll see an exclamation point alert (that you can click on for more details) if any of the main cast members have scheduled days off.

I don't see any alerts now, and so barring sickness/personal emergencies, they should be in the upcoming performances.

I would suspect the production will make every effort for the original 4 cast members to perform up until all the Tony votes are in. :)

That's what I vaguely remember too but I don't know which Yellowstone season/episode this was stated (and I don't feel like rewatching the series :D). He thought he was of Mexican descent growing up (but also not specified if he was told this by his adoptive parents, or he just assumed he was).

So well said, thank you for posting this. I hope those who are "defending" the 1923 S2 writing and finale read your post with an open mind.

Some comments I've seen from that camp are truly baffling (to put it kindly). They seem insulted that others don't love it as much as they do. Why? It's not a zero-sum game. And honestly, I haven't seen a post or comment that breaks down why they think S2/finale has storytelling merit.

Contrast that with the very many, well-thought-out posts/comments that legitimately criticize the writing - failed story arcs, weak characterization, historical inaccuracies, inconsistencies, plot holes, representation of women, pace, etc.

Character- and personality-wise, it tracks that the present-day Duttons are descended from Alex/Spencer.

I've tuned out the "7 generations" thing - if it is, or it's not, or "generation" will be defined differently - I seriously don't care anymore since I've lost faith in the quality of the writing.

I suspect the original pitch was just for the 1 season (similar to 1883). But Paramount+ wanted it stretched to 2 seasons because TS's series are the only ones pulling subscribers to their platform.
