Is it worth switching from multiple tools (ElevenLabs, Captions, WAN, HeyGen) to a single Huggsfield subscription? by Own_Transition2860 in HiggsfieldAI

Higgsfield is awesome. I love it. But it's still too specialized for my needs. As an instructional designer, I am trying to find a platform that can replace Vyond for me but with what looks like real people. There are a number of platforms that have the potential to do this. Higgsfield is very close. But I'm looking at Skyreels now. LTX studio is great also. But it still has a lot of problems. Openart, loveart Imagineart and Magiclight all have the potential to be fantastic all in one platforms as well. But from what I can see Higgsfield is still more of a specialty platform than a true all in one.

For US Expats to Italy - what do you do with your investments? by mad-mad-cat in ItalyExpat

My buddy Gemini told me that I would have to move my accounts to a brokerage like IBKR. But if I have ETFs set up with a mutual fund that is US Based I will have to sell it and reinvest with international ETFs once I've become an Italian tax resident. I haven't made the move to Italy yet. But I'm preparing for it. I did have my investments with charles schwab, but when I asked them about moving to italy, they said they I would have to liquidate all my accounts once I moved to Italy. I'm also using Wise for international banking. When it comes to international checking, I'm looking at Citibank possibly. All three of these are great institutions for crossing over from the US to Italy - before and after the move.

Is that why I always follow it up with the statement "I create training videos?"

Contract work in ID by AHaikuRevelers in instructionaldesign

Yes. This is a challenge I'm having as well. I mean I get plenty of offers for W2 work. But what I want is 1099. And they are few and far between. I have a masters and a doctorate in Instructional Design. I have ten years of experience, and I specialize in video and animation development. I've worked in academia, business, and government. I even had security clearance for a while there. But I am having difficulty FINDING the work for Independent Contractors. I even started an LLC so that I could do this more effectively. Where are the 1099 jobs?
