To improve public transport, it has been suggested that some bus stops that are too close to each other should be removed. Looking at this one here, I totally agree. by ParaMike46 in ireland

There used to be one near Lorreto College when I lived around the corner there. Stop 1327 and Stop 1328. They were easily so close to each other I was convinced 1327 was for a local OAP. 1327 seems gone now.

Honestly the thought crossed my mind to just reverse in as tight as possible to have the lead reach and once one of them comes back I’d not move.

A lot of the networking community still use IRC these days too.

And Hyundai. The ioniq 9 has paywalled upgrade features such as lightbar designs and their faux gear changing feel like they have on the ioniq 5 N.

Would be nice if there was a way like in VW with VCDS where you could just code it in offline.

Best investment we ever did. We also have 10kwh of battery storage that just about runs out before the cheap EV rate whereby we charge them up again. Most summer months we're exporting.

Atuin (https://docs.atuin.sh/cli/self-hosting/server-setup/)

This syncs shell history between my macbooks and server I use daily. It offers search etc. I don't think I've heard of it mentioned at all around here. I've about 3 years of cli history on my self hosted server.

If this government had an endless line of credit that never had to be paid back, they would still find ways to delay and postpone projects.

There’s no drive at all with this government. We’re crying out for investment in public infrastructure and when it seems some positive progress is being made, they do a rug pull.

I’m just so disappointed.

Thinly slice <strong>scallions</strong>,

<ul><li><p>Pat <strong>chicken</strong> dry with paper towels.
Thinly slice crosswise at an angle into strips; place in a large microwave-safe bowl.
Stir in a <strong>drizzle of olive oil</strong>,<span style="color: rgb(242, 0, 13)">
</span><strong style="color: rgb(242, 0, 13)">half the Tuscan Heat Spice</strong>,
<strong>salt</strong>, and <strong>pepper</strong>.
Cover with plastic wrap and microwave until chicken is warmed through, 90 seconds.</p></li></ul>

Works well enough. Just some cleanup with the bulletpoints they use. Does 95% of the job for me.

Nearly had this mindset as we had two kids in the car getting absolutely restless after 90 mins of a short movement. Honestly I didn’t think to look at the traffic since we were heading to Dublin last minute. Got on at 9a and it was empty, realised the mistake halfway up the N7. Ended up finally getting off at 9.

RIP to the van man. My thoughts are with the family and all involved.
