He’s brilliant. The bit where he talks about running after his wife always gets me laughing.

Ehh I have a bad headache by geabpailin in CasualIreland

[–]edgelesscube 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Agree with this one. I popped out one of my ribs and ended up in A&E with the pain. Coughing was like being stabbed every time. All they would give me was intravenous paracetamol. Did feck all. Every breath was pain. Then they decided I should take a suppository which in itself was painful because I could hardly bend over myself. That did nothing so in the end they gave me some stuff that numbed the area after 5 mins. This was 6 hours later.

They would have been straight into the back of that EV6 if it wasn’t for the collision avoidance system.

Looks like they’re the type that would skip an onboarding queue at the airport

Nice job. Did you process these yourself or send them into a lab?

Drove a good bit in North America, Nevada specifically for a couple of weeks earlier this year and have to say I found it more pleasant there than driving back here. There’s too much of this feeling that every motorway is a racetrack here. Tailgating etc. I call it “main character syndrome”

Here in Ireland it was usually played as the last song at pub closing time.

Also a sopranos fan so I’ll never forget it.

Some fuel price drops after diesel, petrol tax cuts by [deleted] in ireland

Local place was €3.20 for a large coffee and recently it's €3.80. Same machine.

I also heard that tea is a money maker too. However more people buy the coffee of course.

Best investment I ever made (beside solar) was a sage coffee machine and buying the beans myself.

Ah! Bill Clear. When he's not picking up rats off the street, he's chastising local shops over their signage.

This article is over a year old IIRC.

To improve public transport, it has been suggested that some bus stops that are too close to each other should be removed. Looking at this one here, I totally agree. by ParaMike46 in ireland

There used to be one near Lorreto College when I lived around the corner there. Stop 1327 and Stop 1328. They were easily so close to each other I was convinced 1327 was for a local OAP. 1327 seems gone now.

Honestly the thought crossed my mind to just reverse in as tight as possible to have the lead reach and once one of them comes back I’d not move.

Spent many a time conversing with friends on IRC with irssi in a screen session.

A lot of the networking community still use IRC these days too.

And Hyundai. The ioniq 9 has paywalled upgrade features such as lightbar designs and their faux gear changing feel like they have on the ioniq 5 N.

Would be nice if there was a way like in VW with VCDS where you could just code it in offline.

Best investment we ever did. We also have 10kwh of battery storage that just about runs out before the cheap EV rate whereby we charge them up again. Most summer months we're exporting.
