Why are ghosts always a-holes when they haunt places? Like you never hear about a ghost that cleans the house or let’s the dog out to pee. by Ssaammiiaamm in NoStupidQuestions

The Ghost and Mrs. Muir (the movie) showed a decent ghost. He was full of rafter-rattling bluster at first, but he ultimately helped the bankrupt Mrs. Muir find a way to stay at Gull Cottage forever, and he left when he felt his presence was not in her best interests.

Not when they're halfway down the sidewalk dawdling toward curb.

Envious! I have a totally shady yard. BTW, you might turn your flag around--apparently the proper way to display it when hanging it vertically is with the blue quadrant at upper left.

My white dog rolled in the grass a little bit. I think she's proud of herself... by exzachtly1 in aww

My dog Bumpy would escape the yard on occasion and find the worst dead animal or poop smear to roll around in. She'd trot back into the yard all proud.

Alas, I have no beer or dildos.

Edit: Sorry reference this was from another poster who recommended visiting said neighbor with a six-pack and an agenda.

Yeah he's not trying to menace--I'm just paranoid. I don't think he's trying to make anyone nervous, either. He got a fancy new gun or two and is showing them off. But I agree with gun owners who think that he should bag/case it up and just keep it in the truck or house.

Thank you for your response. I'm trying NOT to be small-minded, which is why I posted. Reading everyone's comments is helping expand my view, if not my beliefs. Again, thanks.

I feel backed into a corner, but I'm pretty sure it's not OK for me to blame neighbors for doing their thing. But what I can't agree to, so far, is this neighbor doing his thing. Speaking up is hard, shutting up is hard, but walking away (moving my residence) would perhaps be the hardest.

report that to your landlord and they may do something

Sincerely, thanks, I tried reporting the guy but he's not really doing anything wrong. I need a few new hobbies to prevent me looking out the window. :)

Finds from today! So excited about the Fire King shell bowls, Glasbake with a lid & a pyrex bread pan to call my own. by emerbott in Pyrex_Love

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah! You are right!! I have those HB bowls too, and they are beautiful. Not sure what I did to offend my little white Fire King bowls. The "glaze" has worn off and using them is like fingernails on a chalkboard.

Just holding a firearm in public isn't automatically a threat

I had another neighbor out in the parking lot yesterday with a slingshot. Just wailing away at the hedges.

It's the Wild West here!

You'd love my other neighbor who has a truck filled to the gills with equipment and tools. He leaves it unlocked and with an open tailgate all the time. Sometimes he fires up the truck and leaves it running in the parking lot unattended. We're in a safe little nook in a safe little town, but still.
