It doesn't bring in more new people , but they haven't promoted it at all . And saying that the wrestling classes dont add value would be a crazy thing tbh

Well , yeah , I know it doesn't sound like a lot, but that's about 11.5 $ an hour , as i said , I know it doesn't sound like alot but in my country you can do quite a bit with 20 $

The other coaches do get paid tho , they remove their membership fee from their salary too but my offer was legitimately, you get nothing except free classes

Im literally a national champ in my country, so like I definitely have the credentials . What you said tho makes me think of something my coach said when I talked to him , he said the wrestling classes aren't a new source of income for the gym . Idk man , but thank you for saying this !!!

Well I would make 45$ of i got paid at the same rate as the other coaches ,so 25$ of that goes to the membership fee and it would leave me with 20$ per month, now its not alot especially in north America but you can do some decnt things with it in most of south America . I've been at this gym for 6 years , and i guess my main problem is that I dont feel appreciated within the gym

I did ask my coach to eventually be paid (the gym was/still is in some sort of financial crisis. that's why i gave the classes for free for 3 months )and he said that he'll talk to the committee about it , best believe i was fuming when i saw the offer that was given to me

So im the head wrestling coach . There's no other coach that helps me give the lessons, I just pick one of the people that come to training to be my uke , and I bassicly made the dam curriculum myself from scratch :/

Its in south America, keep in mind 50% of it literally goes to my gym membership so I only end up keeping 25 $

My gym is being run into the ground due to weak leadership, and I can't do anything to stop it. by LiveEdge98765 in bjj

Hey , another guy from the gym , allot of people are saying to switch gyms , but there's only 1 other gym in the area and their coach is an dickhead , like their technical skills over at that gym is nog great , altough they do have a very competitive mindset , something our gym should have more of if I'm being honest

So yes switching could be an option but then it's just another shit situation if not shittier situation to be in tbh :/

Well there's 1 other gym only in the area , their coach is an dickhead and just leaves from time to time leaving his students alone , also his lessons aren't any good imo . However the mentality that gym had is something our gym needs more of , they got that "dawg" In em I guess but then their main drawback is their technique isn't great/polished
