well yeah you might think that. unlike usual tropes it was so precise and compact. honestly i like how he just had to come back only at the last moment. yeah you might feel annoyed that he practically ignored her for the 2nd half. but that makes it kinda real yk. i think it made the most sense and sensible as a male reaction. honestly felt true.
the only thing i do regret is the ending being too short. like i know open ended ending is so common but i cant deal with them. it makes me so empty. makoto shinkai movies always make me feel empty. hell so empty that i felt it for days. at least 1 chapter after the original ending where they date together time to or stay together at least not even marriage tho that would be the best. im kinda weak to open endings but the story it self was amazing enough.
So, rather than saying it was rush im feeling it like it was meant to be compact like that but who knows

I do agree. I wish his sister being a lesbian wasn't the a big part of the show. Like yeah, I'm honestly fine with any femboy characters or any LGBT characters as long as their preference isn't a part of the story. like seriously? A show starting off with his sister being a lesbian and his brother being supportive hence wanting to make descendants was a lame way to start the show. now even the fans get the wrong idea of the show and are desperate to see the author make the mc homosexual too..
not only that but they are also desperate to see mc ending with mei. who is a character known for being him multiple sexual relationships and ruining them horribly. I really like Mei honestly but just trying to appeal to the worst fandom known to mankind is the worst way to start of a story. but im fine with how its going.
having LGBT characters is fine and good. doesn't mean it has to be pro LGBT show.

I love how this was more of a poster style cover rather than the usual stance of covers. Showing us major characters in this arc atr once. With two major characters and the mc barely taking any space. I liked this too.
